We're looking at Assassin's Creed - ALL Cinematic CGI Trailers (2007-2020)

There is a lot of copyright protected music in this one so everytime the original video/uploader removed the music, I've replaced it so it's now in the video. Sometimes I'm watching these cinematics without music but I have labelled it when this is happening. This video bizzarely is partially blocked on YouTube. Blocked territories are Belarus and Russia. If you are a Patron from these areas, please let me know so I can get this video to you in another way.

This video is sponsored by INTO THE AM T-SHIRTS but I've removed the ad as the Patreon is adfree but I don't want you to miss out on the 10% I get across the store using my code FILMMAKERREACTS - There is also a link in the description of the video. Click that as it does help support the channel if you were going to purchase something. My t-shirt also changes due to the sponsor.

Enjoy the video!

P.S - New microphone is up and running so yay!

The really big problem of the AC series has always been the story. The trailers always look great, but the story (at least for me) tends to be quite weak, getting worse as time goes on - Rogue was propably my favorite, all considered. Thanks for the reactipn, though :)

Well, and the repetitive gameplay. The setting changes, some mission types change, but overall (apart from Valhalla, never played that one), it doesnt change really.

In regards to the trailer where the assassin is chasing towards the guillotine: Yes, you are correct, the woman was a templar, as shown by the cross around her neck. The trailer used the association of "cross=templar=bad guy" to make us viewers think the assassin was out to kill her, when in fact he was saving her, cutting to the slogan of AC: Unity "Unite" as in an assassin and a templar unite in this story. While the first trailer for AC: Unity is absolutely gorgeous from a visual standpoint, I too prefer the trailer with the guillotine just because of how well it tells its story and plays with the audiences expectations.

SWTobito

AC: Origins has a really good story. It's the first of the games to move away from the classic AC gameplay style, moving more towards a slight rpg style, but the story is absolutely fantastic.

SWTobito

Man, I sometimes forget how amazing the cinematic trailers for Origins, Valhalla and Mirage are.

Love all the Assassin's Creed cinematics, so I'm so glad you managed to react to the whole series! Assassin's Creed 3's trailer in particular is good!

The way that one was shot I really liked. It was also the use of having the camera low, fill the shots with layers like the grassy fields so the assassin is half covered and the use of a telephoto lens. All three of those together worked like magic! I'm still crushing on the Origins game, the Egyptian one if I've confused the name?

Alex Steak

I actually have to amend my earlier comment (also sorry for the late reply), I haven't played Origins yet, I just bought it in a sale but never got around to it :/ Will do now tho, thanks to Tobito

Nagaraja

just for fun you might enjoy the Tobuscus "literal trailers" versions of these cinematic trailers, they're a lot of just pure fun!
