Whats interesting to me is that the cinematic trailers, especially for 3, are very earth centric and not all that... expressive, honestly. For a game known for its story and great characters (and the Karma System of Course) the trailers dont really go into any of that. (Tbf, I played all the games, never seen any of the trailers except the proper trailer where you can see shepard (the guy) and Ashley (the woman in the blue armor) fight/ lead the fight to reclaim earth

Number 2 felt very space opera to me and probably why I liked it. I felt this was a big universe to discover. Number 3 looked more like a hollywood blockbuster going straight to streaming services. I would have watched it though.

Loved mass effect 1, was so happy when it got released on PC(as i didnt have a xbox and my mates kept goin on about it. So i got into mass effect through word of mouth.). Saren definitely top 10 villian. What's so good about him is that starts of with good intentions(especially if you read the books) and genuinely thinks he is doing the right thing. ME2 is the dirty dozen in space love it, love the games launch trailer and use of two steps from hell in it. Garrus and legion are my favourite characters. Mass effect 3 I loved until the last few levels. Though the ending can be fixed the extended Happy ending mod on PC. Also Femshep all the way. Jennifer hale just adds an extra dimension that male shep I feel lacks. Also I did enjoy mass effect Andromeda. Yes the development was hell, it was bugged to bits, but the actual gameplay is rock solid and with mods it's a good game.

For mass effect 3 I used the MEHEM ending mod. Which alters the ending to give you better choices than the 3 colours mod. It also gives a much happier ending if you have a high enough war asset score. For mass effect Andromeda I used graphical mods, community patches which fixes a lot of thr bugs, faster load time mods, better squad mods that rebalance your squad. I also use mods that make vehicle gameplay better, with simpler controls and rebalanced. All of which you can get from nexus mods and it has a mod manager and installer to make the mods easy to use.

I agree with you, I felt the original cinematic trailer for ME3 was better than extended cut.

I really enjoyed it and it was a close call when thinking about which one do I break down. The reason I didn't choose ME3 was it was mainly in the soundmix, just a bassy tone and an ear ringing sound effect. ME2 really has made me want to play it, that's such a powerful thing. Thanks for being here fella and let me know if you want a t-shirt, I'm having some made next week.

You should've watched the launch trailer for ME2, it's by far the best trailer of the series and one of the best of all time IMO (excluding some ultra-high budget stuff like Halo live actions). This is, in my opinion, the best game series ever made. 2, specifically, I think is the single best game ever made. I was delighted to see you'd covered at least some of it in the past. Any desire to go through and do a full cinematic watch through of this series? I do agree with one of the other comments too, should have gone with the launch trailer for 2.
