Cool, looking forward the most to Batman. I'm jist a fan of the character and the game series. Is there a reason you chose Origins, so first game in chronological order, and not the first game in release order, Asylum?

Kai Zammit - Filmmaker Reacts

It was the name I saw the most in the YouTube comments. I also love an origins story, guessing it covers that a little? I'm hoping it does.

It does a bit. No spoilers: it is the earliest playable appearance of Batman, timeline wise of the Arkham universe. If I remember correctly at this point Batman is in his 2nd year of crime fighting, with many people/criminals still thinking him to be an urban myth and not real, while even the police still wants to capture him. And Gotham's underworld is still ruled by the 'normal' gangsters, like Falcone or Sionis Sr. The more ... flamboyant criminals just start to make their first appearances. A good game to start the Arkhamverse, although it did get relatively bad reviews at the time. Partly bc it wasn't made by the same studio who made the original two games, Asylum and City - meaning it also looks a bit different than the rest, but also bc people were hoping for a continuation of the story but felt a bit 'betrayed' when instead they got a 'filler' game set in the past.
