NEW LOOK FOR HALO! (Patreon)

Just heard the news about Halo Studios and the future of the franchise. When I first saw the above image, I thought it was a real toy. Very bright on the levels on the chief make him look like he's made of plastic. For fun, I decided to apply a cinescope look, the 235.1 Aspect ratio mask and give him a cheeky Low Key lighting look to make it feel more grown up (second image). If I had it in a proper colour grader I could do a better job but I wanted to spend a few minutes on the still to show what heavy contrast, stripped colour and a cinescope aspect ratio can do.What do you guys think about the Halo news? It made me very excited when I watched the small vidoc on it.
