FINALLY THE FILMMAKER HAS COME BACK TO HALO....! I've put this off long enough now that it's become a nag. I liked parts of the first series but certainly didn't love it! I'm grateful however that I get to see something of Halo, even if it's only the cool bits which adds up to 30 minutes in a 8-10 episode series. I've heard mixed feelings on this series so lets give it a ago. PLAY THE TAPE!!

Oh no, he's subjecting himself to torture for content! For real though, I literally had to stop watching this show after the first two episodes of season two because it was just that embarrassing. Especially for something that tries to brand itself as Halo. To some people I'm sure there are things to enjoy, but as a Halo fan since the original trilogy, the writing for this show feels like one big middle finger to the source material.

There were parts of this episode I liked and some I hated or felt disappointed in. Even I struggle through this to remember, this isn't Master Chief, this is the Master Cheeks series. As I said at the end of the video, I'm going to give episode 2 a go and see what happens, it could be a 2 episode coverage or I'll find a video with all the best bits and react to that. That's what we're watching for tbh. Thank you for commenting though, helps with direction when it comes to content you guys want.

Normally I'd say go for it, since controversial stuff is widely popular for YouTube viewers, but at least that type of media is interesting because of discourse. The "It's so bad that it's good" type of media. The Halo tv show on the other hand is considered bad simply because it's boring and the plot is either extremely predictable, or so out of left field that it leaves you scratching your head. I guess your YouTube alalgorithm will tell you which type it ends up being.
