Hopefully the first of many to come of the Filmmaker Plays Series. 2 hours of unedited, super fun hang out glory! I've held off for nearly a year me playing games for you guys and the reason being, I can't talk filmmaking when I'm playing. I'm having fun and enjoying the moment. This leaves me feeling guilty or that I'm not giving you enough...However.

Now I've been doing this whole YouTube thing for a while, you guys really know me, I'm ready!

I wanted to give you what you've been asking for and that's some gameplay. So I'm treating these as a fun hang out session. Sometimes I'll get nerdy on the filmmaking but sometimes, it's a chill Sunday playing games together. On occasions I'll continue the game, other times it will be something else. The next Filmmaker Plays will be Space Marine 2 for example.

After that, we could come back to Halo Reach or cover another game we've already featured on the channel, [that's the only rule I have]. You guys will have to let me know.

Its funny you say that youre not going to be commenting a lot about filmmaking while playing and you end up talking about filmmaking anyways, at least in the peaceful bits. And thats great actually, I love it, especially because what I have seen so far of you is that you cant take the gamer out of the filmmaker, and now Im seeing you cant take the filmmaker out of the gamer either. In fact I got a challenge: If you play Halo Reach and get to the end of it, I will sub Black Belt for a whole year. I promise the moment you upload that final gameplay and the last cinematic ends, I do it.

I think you should do more of these Kai. it's fun to just watch you chill and play the game, it's also pretty funny that you are trying to explain filmmaking in a serious situation. But I think you shouldn't feel too bad about not explaining the filmmaking techniques when you play, I think most of us only expect that during your reactions

Hello Kai, I know im a bit late but i wanted to recommend an animated film called Halo: The Fall of reach, the budget on it was a bit cheap but its still a really good film that goes over some of the events from the book.
