Hi Guys,

Recently I was speaking with friends about the Alien universe and I realised I've not watched these movies or any of my favourite films for a few years now. Aliens, Robocop and Mad Max: Fury Road as an example.

I'm going to watch them soon but wondered if it would be something you'd like me to post here on the Patreon. It wouldn't be a first time reaction as I've seen them, granted it's been a while but would you like to watch along with me as I talk about all the filmmaking techniques and just geek out over the content/lore?If not, I'll happily watch them on my own but thought this could be something cool to do together.

Let me know below.

Kai - Your Friendly Neighbourhood Filmmaker.

P.S. - Probably just given away the next big game I'm covering.

Hell yeah, that would be awsome🤩

Yea, why not? That’d be cool, I’m all for it. Dude, maybe I haven’t seen if you’ve asked us but would you consider doing other shows besides Arcane - specifically anime? Since they’re both on Netflix, a reaction/analysis of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (a quick 10 episodes) and Vinland Saga (2 24 episode seasons). Idk if anyone else would be up for this but I know you’ve mentioned anime in the past so I figured I’d ask.

There is also Alien Isolation if you ever feel like playing a horror game. I’d recommend playing it instead of reacting to the cinematics. It’s full of atmosphere and is one of the best horror experiences I have played.

ninetyseven

For sure! Would be awesome to see you watch these movies and give your knowledge

Chris Clark

Yeah alien dark descent. It's actually a pretty good game. I also agree with doing alien, then I would check out alien isolation, fantastic horror game and a excellent in-between alien and aliens.

WraithBringer

If it's Alien Isolation on Playstation you're onto a winner, it's an amazing game that captures the essence of the franchise perfectly and it's absolutely fucking terrifying hahaha! I'd love to see this content. I'm quite controversial as my favourite film of all time is Alien 3 and I think the audiences of today would appreciate it a lot more than those at the time.

Zoozee

Yeah, especially the Alien movies. Never played the Alien game(s), but I saw Nolan North and Troy Baker play it on Retro Replay and it looked really dark and scary😅

SovietNexter

I'd love more movie content!

Kitzune

One of my favourite franchises definitely all for that 🙌🏽

James Sherrill

I definately have a few older Game trailers/cinematics id love to see you react too. But thats just me. Have a good day Kai!

PizzaGuyFrank

Sound cool man! I’ve been meaning to watch it sometime anyway as I haven’t seen any of them yet

lunasera

I think it's a cool idea but I also wish you would react to some of the shows/movies that were made from games you've done. For example the Nathan Fillion short fan uncharted movie or the new one. Also if not the whole last of us series, maybe just clips or a video comparing the game and show so you could comment on how they adapted the game to live action (for better or worse). Thanks for considering!

Kai Zammit - Filmmaker Reacts

I've got The Last of Us on the list to cover but I'm not feeling it yet. The Uncharted fan film is definitely on there. Coming soon in fact!

N7Phoenix115

Yes I think it’s the most recent alien game but I’d love to see you cover that for the story as well as isolation for the experience! Though I know you aren’t huge on horror but if you can make it through and enjoy the movies you’ll love the game too! Would love to enjoy them all along with you!

Lady Vexx

For sure I'm interested! I actually have never seen the first Alien movie.

Gabriel Sanayeh

even if you already saw them, having you comment on the film techniques, how they install their embiance and how it inspired in your carreer you would be amazing

Xenomantis

This is my favorite franchise of all time im begging And you *need* to watch Romulus if you havent. It's basically Fanservice: The Movie but it's done so well that it doesnt even matter

Mario

Like Palpatine said to Anakin: Do it Aliens is a great franchise, had its ups and downs, Romulus is great And Mad Max is a must

BLAAARGNN

alien and predator are probably my favorite IP's that exist, used to fall asleep listening/watching the directors commentary version of OG alien for like 3 years lol
