Coming Tomorrow / The Day After: Sinners & Batman: Arkham Asylum 🕹️🦇

Since it’s Spooktober, I’m planning to dive into more horror and spooky-themed games and movies this month. If there’s anything you’d like me to cover, drop your suggestions below—I’ll check them out! 👻🎬

I might also put together some polls so you can help decide what makes the lineup. Stay tuned!

On my radar:

Until Dawn - Game

Hellraiser Reboot or Original (1987) - Movie

Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich - Movie

Aliens - Movie

Alien: Isolation - Game

Dead Space Remake - Game

Let’s go! Very excited for both! Also, I’ve never played either of the games, but I hear Alan Wake is a great series and while it’s not prototypical horror, it’s more known as a psychological action-thriller with horror elements. Could be interesting, something to consider I think! Maybe could throw it in a poll and see what people who’ve played the game(s) think.

Until Dawn would be so fun! The same game studio also have a horror game series called the Dark Pictures Anthology, you should definitely check them out later if you like Until Dawn.

Gotta second Alan Wake, and throw in Control. I think he'd really dig these games.

Sinners AND until dawn!? We eatin good tonight boys

Dead Space, make us whole. I mean I am very excited to see dead space on the list, the original version has one of the best or rather one of my most favorite trailers ever - the twinkle twinkle little star trailer. Although the remake is good, the original has a detail not present in the remake. Every time "make us whole" or something similar was mentioned in Death Stranding it was kinda jarring to me.

Alan Wake 2 is my favourite game of this generation so its always a recommendation :) of course Alan Wake 1 first!

Control would be a visual masterpiece and very psychological thriller for sure! Also recently loved Cronos: The New Dawn from the team that made the Silent Hill 2 Remake. Not jump scare focused but more psychological and creepy/gory. Silent Hill 2 Remake. In my opinion/experience not having played the first, the second title is pretty self sustained if not completely self sustained.

I'm glad you have Until Dawn on the list. It's fun

Alan Wake has licensed music which fits so well to the story, which will be for sure cut out. Music is a very important part in Remedy games in general. I would also throw in F.E.A.R. or Condemned: criminal origins, sadly Monolith Productions was closed after a long run of 30 years.

Ah I did not know that! I imagine that’s true of both games then? I remember when Kai posted the first episode of the Spider-Man (2018) reaction, the music was cut out of the beginning scene, and it felt so awkward and empty.

Until dawn and alien isolation are great but Alien Isolation is the best piece of alien media in years. Romulus and earth just don't even compare.

It was alright, but Doug Bradley is and will always be pinhead imo and the practical effects they use in this is just iconic when it comes to the gore scenes. Also they are doing a game of hellraiser as well that looks really good.

You must cover Silent Hill 2, one of the best horror games of all times

Thomas Jenner

with it being the spooky season, might also be worth putting Resident evil on your radar

Alita

Silent Hill 2 (Remake) would be perfect for Spooktober, those scenes are really good

Piling on with the Alan Wake 2 reccomendations. I cant imagine a world where somebody plays that game and doesnt think it's something special. Remedy has really makes their games feel original
