The reason for the blurring in "glitches" as you say was to make the game seem like a movie. the blurring would be quick time event or choices that the creator of the video masked out. Also the last speech might need context that you as the player are choosing what Marcus is saying so maybe they didn't want to cut to human reactions while your making decisions. anyway still loved the reactions cant wait for the next one.

Not sure if you heard but the same people who made this game have also been working on a new star wars game, star wars eclipse that got announced on 2021. Its got the same game director (David Cage, who's also the founder of the company) as the team has had for their past games that were similar to Detroit. If you want to see more from these guys I would recommend "Heavy Rain" and "Beyond two Souls" which are also games in a very similar style to this one.

Loving this series so far! I think the reason for the long take with Markus at the end may be because as a player, you're given options for what you want him to say next, and that's why we stay with him in that moment and the camera doesn't cut away until after the final dialogue choice has been made. As a player, I think the static shot is meant to make you feel calm and resolute as you choose, like Markus? 🤔 Makes for a boring viewing experience though, absolutely 😂

A lot of the "ping" sounds are coming from the UI a lot of the choices alter the relationships you have with different characters like Hank for exampel you can be hostile,warm, neutral or friendly depending on what dialog choices you have made previously and if your relationship status is too low and you pick the wrong choices he actually shoots connor. Like deciding the save Hank while chasing that android has a big impact how he sees Connor. Same with the padlock that was unlocked it unlocks stuff further in the game for example you wouldn't be able to release the zombie androids if you didn't look in the cell while walking by. The unlocks might even be in a different chapter. Fun fact Connor and the blue haired stacy are actually married in real life and they stream and have done multiple playthroughs of the game.

Sphinx War

What's crazy is that, as far as I remember, there are nearly 80 endings to this game, and the story actually changes completely if you make different choices. It's one of the most insane executions of a choice games in history of gaming. In fact, after watching a few playthroughs with some mainstream choices, I decided to check out a video of less popular choices and the story was so vastly different that I couldn't even pinpoint what point in the story the player was.

I love this game, the quick time decisions made me so stressed out playing it though. I love how they’ve removed them but also in a way it would be nice for you see the different potential choices. PS, Marcus is one sexy Android😀

Thanks for the reaction! BTW, long takes are most likely QTE or "make a choice" like in Marcus speech, you have the freedom to choose what he is going to say. He can be "aggressive" or polite in his demands. Public opinion can sway depend on it. And the little girl at the start of the game, the very first rescue mission, she can fall down with the deviant, you can even die as Connor here: headsh*t, falling down with the deviant. You can even shoot yourself the deviant (which I did lmao) although it's prohibited to use a weapon as an android, I still used it XD PS: I let Hank hang at the edge of the rooftop (there is an UI who tells you the survival probability and it was very high), of course Hank didn't appreciate this, and punched me to the face ahaha.
