I was in London yesterday and all over the underground, this is being advertised.

I'm not going to lie... It tickled my taste buds a little. I never seen or played these games before so this would be my entry into this franchise. Should we do an All Cutscenes Reaction?

Honestly haven’t seen anything about it and haven’t messed with Metroid in a long time but if it is of interest to you I would be happy to see your thoughts

It was but after almost 20 years since the last one it hasn't evolved in any significant way and whatever little they did add was detrimental to the experience. Samus is still mute and the other characters are very Marvel humour. And the "villain" isn't even really a character.

I would say no, I haven't played this one yet but I have played the others and its mainly focused on gameplay and not really super in depth cutscenes. The story telling is done through the environment and small things you scan with small cutscenes. This is one of those games youre more inclined to play rather than watch. That is however my opinion based on my experience with the other 3 entries

what I remember from playing Metroid Prime back in the day is that it's pretty similar to Doom. silent protagonist, the characters around you do all the talking, the person you're playing as is just there to do cool shit. there are story beats here and there, but a lot of the cutscenes would likely be mid-mission intros of the enemies you're about to shoot at. if you think you'd enjoy that then go for it

Not something that interests me personally. I remember enjoying Metroid Prime on the Gamecube like 20 something years ago but that's my only experience with the franchise
