My first ever Death Battle and of course I had to choose my one and only Yugi Moto! Interesting format this one, I did watch all of it but I think going forward if it's something you'd like me to check out, I'll skip the talking bits.

I also apologise for the lack there of film talk, I was too caught up in what Pokemon and Yugioh cards I could see. I was also worried for some strange reason about Yugi losing like it actually was canon. The power of IP and characters that we've bonded with.

This is also another reason I love being a cold caller to franchises and IPs because I'm able to scan the scene more. Regardless, what a blast, what a clever concept and what fun!

never expected you to react to a Death Battle, but I love these things! been watching them since the Bowser vs Eggman one that came out last year. they're super goofy and clearly not meant to be taken seriously, but you wouldn't believe how upset some people get when their favorite character loses one 😅

Kai Zammit - Filmmaker Reacts

I say in this, If Yugi lost, I'd riot! 😂. Like i said above, I only watched it because of the two it was. If you want me to see some more fights, lets go!

Chris.N7

Probably killed him yeah, they do kill a lot of people in Yu-Gi-Oh lol.

Xandur

would love to see more in the future for sure. the best part about being late to the party is that there's already so many to watch - no need to wait for a new one. also worth noting that there are different artists for each DB, so not all of them are 3D like this one was. there's lots of diversity

Harry Hall

Oh death battle my favourite was their guts vs nightmare both dark characters

These are always fun nerd battle type things. There's a pokemon vs digimon one from years back thats quite fun as well. The format is kind of take it or leave it I've always just viewed it mainly as ine highlight reel vs another with accompanying backstory. They do some more obscure characters sometimes or go into deep lore of franchises which I think is why they go so far to explain. Would love to see more of these if you enjoyed them.

Triedge101

this was a fun little surprise for sure. if you check more out id recommend Dante from Devil May Cry vs Clive from Final Fantasy 16 Pokemon vs Digimon (Agumon vs Charizard) Godzilla vs The Hulk Ruby from RWBY vs Maka Albarn from Soul Eater Bowser vs Eggman Cole Macgrath vs Alex Mercer Infamous vs Prototype Weiss (RWBY) vs Mitsuru (persona 3) just to name a few

Seal Oppa

Hey Kai, I am not sure if you've already heard about it or watched it. But I feel like you'd enjoy watching an anime called "To be Hero X". The animation, film direction and different animation styles is amazing, would love to see your perspective on it!
