A game from my own SECRET "PERSONAL" LIST HAS ARRIVED!! This is a MUST WATCH.

I thought I found my favourite game within the last year or so with Batman Arkham Knight but I think I was wrong! This game literally moved me. The art style, the thread of storytelling, the acting or VO work should I say and that blooming score!!

I don't know if it's a touch of nostalgia or my childhood memories playing tricks on me. This game was magic. I felt that Nintendo Magic that I always hear about even though they traditionally do everything I hate in storytelling/gaming. Grunts and groans mainly and granted, there is a touch of that here still, grrrrr! BUT... I felt the magic and I'm still shocked by it. I want to feel it again!

Can I add that this is literally an only cutscenes video, no gameplay yet it still grabbed me with both hands and brought me in for that warm Nintendo embrace. I'm guessing this was a one off but you never truly know and that's why I love this channel.

Is there another Nintendo game that could do it again? I hope so...

In the section where link was with the gerudo dressed up, you need to wear it in order to enter their town. The gerudo are an all female race and don't allow men inside their town. Though there are gerudo men but they're only born every 100 years.

You asked if it was kinda linear or if you can do them in any order. Technically, once you get the glider and the initial abilities, you can go straight to Hyrule Castle without doing anything else! You can skip all of the divine beasts.

Christian Spruill

Correct. You'd also have to fight all 4 of the Divine Beast bosses in the same room as well. 3 hearts, 5 bosses. It's a masochists dream

Strags

Yep. The Divine Beasts nerf Ganon in his boss battle. If you are skilled enough you can go there as soon as you indeed get the glider as the only restriction is being able to leave the Great Plateau where you start. Any% Speedruns do this in combination with a bunch of other glitches and finish the game in about 10 mins. A non cheesed playthrough getting the majority of the "optional" story done and doing the enormous amount of side content and puzzle shrines you can clock about 500 hours. Easy.

I recommend checking out the sequel Tears of the Kingdom. It had big shoes to fill with how good Breath of the Wild was, but I think it really delivered.

Loving these reactions recently, I'd like to suggest xenoblade chronicles, I think the story is great and the filmmaking aspect is underrated. Keep up the good work 😊

Hi Kai! please read: The lore is super cool once you get the hang of it! Basically, Link and Zelda in Breath of the Wild are totally different people from the ones in Ocarina of Time or Wind Waker. Think of it like a legend that retells itself every few thousand years: Link & Zelda are reincarnations. They are new people born in a new era, but they possess the same "Spirit of the Hero" (Link) and the "Blood of the Goddess" (Zelda). They always inherit the courage and wisdom of their predecessors. Ganon is usually the same guy (or the same ancient evil) refusing to die. In BotW, he looks like that giant smoke monster/spider ("Calamity Ganon") because he was sealed away for so long that he lost his human form and became pure hatred. The spider's body was just a creepy, unfinished puppet he was trying to build when Link interrupted him! Also fun fact on the outfit in the desert area: The reason Link had to dress up as a girl is because he needed to enter Gerudo Town to complete his quest, but their laws strictly forbid men ("Voe") from entering the walls. The only way past the guards was to buy a disguise and sneak in! If you are going to react to the DLC next i heavily encourage you to also react to the "Breath of the Wild sequel teaser" right along with that! it's a short but amazing teaser that will surely hype you up for the sequel which is Tears of the Kingdom! Here is the link (pun intended): https://youtu.be/3fr1Z07AV00?si=a-B2ug-jJYY63UI5 As always great video and sorry for the long comment!

since you loved this one so much, i'd also recommend checking out Skyward Sword! Since it's a little older, it doesn't have any voice acting sadly, but it is still the zelda game most known for its story. It's been my favourite zelda since i first played it as a kid, even if the motion controls were a bit divisive

FINALLY!! probably the most influencial modern game release of our time. To quickly jump on your comment about the 2 catchments in the eyes, I believe its because they are treated as translucent sphere in which light travels trough. Top one the bigger one is where light hits the object and smaller at the bottom is the light's exit point

Time to watch the tears of the kingdom cutscenes. Such a great ending

Oliver

If you liked Breath of the wild you should really check out Tears of the Kingdom. It's a sequel game that continues the story, also there are Nintendo Switch 2 versions of both games which should fix the frame rate issues :)

Will

The sequel, 'Tears of the kingdom' has a great set of cut scene's to look at
