The Dark Knight Rises [2012] - FULL REACTION!! (Patreon)

3/3 That's it.... The final of the big three Cristopher Nolan Batman Movies is here... Holy shit, this was a rollercoaster!

I'm going to be honest. This movie surprised me. Not only did it "roughly" address my IMAX concerns but it also fixed everything I didn't like with The Dark Knight!! This movie was f'n awesome, bloody long but f'n awesome. An the visuals, these compositions were ART!

This journey and it really was that, I could have flown to another country before this movie had finished but...

What a climax, what an experience and what a culmination of everything the other two films set in motion. If this was the third book in this Batman's life, I'd be a very happy Batman fan to close the back cover, press it to my chest thinking of the journey I've just been on. Place it on the book shelf next to my other favourites and smile knowing I'll always have this feeling of my time with it.

The reason I feel this way and you too is the amount of time allocated to the world building. Yes it's outrageously long, all of them in fact but so, so worth it. I felt the scenes with Alfred, he was speaking to me directly and yes, that bugger got me teary. We wouldn't have felt this way if we were darting up and down, left and right all over Gotham and like some other super hero movies/content.

This has been an absolute honour and pleasure to share this trilogy with you guys.

Wow... Whatever is next.
