This is the Star Wars magic that I've missed, that I’ve been looking for and what I wanted! This franchise and yes, this game makes me feel like a child again. Every moment is special and delivered with that “Star Wars polish”, it’s fantastic!

This must have been played on a PC with mods or something because this game was released in 2019 and is up there with one of the best games, I’ve ever seen…. Only if you don’t look at those killer eyes and the Wookie’s faces, you’d be mistaken and thought you time travelled back to the year 2000. The year Coldplay first hit our ears, Big Brother launched and changed reality TV forever and the year of the PS2.

It’s not all scenes but when they give you that look, you know about it. Give me night terrors that will!

It’s so nice to re-visit Star Wars again and feel the warmth of my childhood. The excitable glint in my eye that this franchise can easily achieve but also devastatingly fuck up. Not just me either but the ones that matter the most, you guys. The Star Wars fan.

This is not that, this is proper, a lovely jubbly Star Wars!

Oh yes! Fallen Order was great! I’ve yet to try Survivor! Heard it was fun despite its shaky release!

Not sure whose vide you used but this is definitely modded or using some kind of ENB filter, the vanilla game doesn't look this good - it's way more washed out (this was one of my major gripes with it when it cvame out). The lightsaber blade is a dead giveaway, in the vanilla game it has a white core - in this gameplay it's just a neon blue. But yeah this is not what the game actually looks like. I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan but unfortunately I didn't love this game, although wish I did, I enjoyed the story but the gameplay gets veryyy tedious. Some of the later areas are just a complete slog. My biggest issue with it is you spend way too much time fighting wildlife and not enough time fight humanoid enemies. The second game is a lot more fun for me but the story is significantly worse. Starts very promising but gets very messy the longer it goes on.

RIP Vince Zampella, creater of Medal of Honor, call of duty, titanfall, and founder of respawn entertainment and paved the way to make these Star Wars game saying it was one of the first things he wanted to do with his own studio. They wasn’t sure if they were going to get the rights to it so the started on a original ip that would be similar but not Star Wars then after working on it for a bit, EA was like “hey we got the Star Wars ip license if you still wanted to do that Star Wars game” and Vince immediately said fuck that original ip game let’s make this badass Star Wars game.

I find it really weird that every time I sit down and start to replay a game, you either cover the series or the game, it happened with Batman and now with Jedi fallen order, I’m about 1/4 through the game right now, so excited to have you see one of my favorite Star Wars games. Please do Jedi survivor next

Cal's Jedi Master is voiced by Travis Willingham. He's a reasonably big voice actor in gaming and anime dubbing. As of stuff you covered on the channel, you probably heard him as background voices in The Last of Us but most notably he is Kingpin in the Spiderman games. Fun fact, he is married in real life to Laura Bailey who plays MJ in Spiderman and Abby form The Last of Us Part 2.

This game has a phenomenal photo mode, you can pause the game even during a hyperspace jump (not quite sure if that is the correct nomenclature) and activate the photo mode. Fallen order has its issues like traversal / climbing / platforming, the floaty / wonky animations, the map navigation and as far as I remember after arriving at a certain planet the game performance plummeted to unplayable and nothing helped no changing of graphics settings or traveling to a previous planet, etc - before that it ran fine enough. I haven't played at release but approx. three years after and it still had performance issues, I don't have a 3090 but still an EVGA 3080ti (which came out after fallen order) and a r9 5900x. All the positives this game has kind of got neutered for me by this strange performance issue and I never played it since, sad that Jedi Survivor has its PC issues as well. Apparently the Ultra + PC mod should help out but I haven't tried that yet as I just stumbled upon a steam forum post mentioning that mod. Watching this all cut-scenes video kinda makes me want to give Fallen Order a go again.

As much as I already like Fallen Order, I found Survivor better in every possible way so I'm excited to see you cover it! I hope that this same YouTuber uploaded a playthrough of that game as well

games on PC tend to have more graphics options, some games implement exclusive features for specific graphic card brands like NVIDIA

The guy I use for these always includes gameplay. The other ones that use gameplay are Gamer's Little Playground but everyone hates the way they play so I'm kind of stuck sometimes.

Motion is blur is house Bioware made mounts work in Dragon Age Inquisition. Their game engine didn't support increased movement speed so when you rode your mount and sped up it just added motion blur to regular movement speed....
