WARNING! As you hit the play button… My ear-splitting laugh will deafen you! Worth it though.

Here we are! Kick starting the Horror/Spooktober/Halloween movie fest with what I would call, in style! It’s in the TITLE for goodness’ sake!

I’ve never seen this movie before, of course I’ve heard of it and oh my goodness, what a SLASHER! I feel like I’ve come out of a lecture theatre at university, I have the same inspiration I would get when covering older movies.

Movies that changed history and we’re studying them for a reason. Here we are today however with me kind of being the lecturer. F’N love it! You’re the best students ever.

Please remember and most of you already know this. Horror makes me laugh!

Expect me to laugh and take the piss a lot. Another point what I really liked about this movie is the feature itself is perfect for learning about what and what not to do. A better way of saying it would be areas worth looking at again if you had another go at it.

Even though this movie was made in 1978. I would choose this any day of the week over a modern title.

It felt like a movie and I miss that feeling so much.

As I mentioned, this is bloody amazing and I can’t wait to watch it with you guys!

I’ve never seen so much Two Pumps One Squirt in a movie before, well I have but that’s a different kind of movie you dirty sods😂. Close though… considering all the bacon baps in it. They even had ketchup on one pair.

Right then… Mask ready, knife ready, player ready. Play the BLOODY tape!

Kai

P.S. In the graveyard scene, I mistake the tombstone hole for grave hole. This is why I’m talking about small people! I worked it out eventually. I immediately went for the graverobber type character in my head. Clearly not that!

P.S. Halloween 2 Reaction?

Sending love from San Antonio, Texas! The timing of this is perfect! I was just about to fix myself a big bowl of cereal.

figured i would throw this in here, the film being watched isn't john carpenters "the thing" but rather the original film "the thing from another world" (kind of sucked) which john carpenter remade

Oh man I never expected you to mention Devin Supertramp. I used to watch his videos back then when he was doing th Assasins Creed parkour ones and all of it. I remember I first watched his main channel, where he uploaded all those videos, and then I started watching his secondary channel where he showed and explained the process behind all of it and it was crazy. I eventually falled behind in his uploads and I havent seen his channel in many years. I actually remember when he uploaded the video where he explained the process behind creating his own version for the glidecam. It was basically a cheaper version, but it was more efficient for his takes because he needed to swipe the camera up and down very fast and you could put weight plates to let gravity be your friend when switching it. Its been a very long time since I watched that, but I still remember some of the details because I thought it was cool, especially back then when youtubers where very recently making a living with Youtube, and see someone who was not only making videos in Youtube his full time job, but also helping other creators to do their own thing and grow. Very inspiring indeed

kai! if you ever have the time, check out Halloween (2018) it's a direct sequel to this movie than any other halloween movies released after.

Local Degenerate

hopefully the og candyman is on the list, its def in my top 10 horror movies

Local Degenerate

God its so good, i think it would be up your ally. Plus Tony Todd is in it, bless him RIP

Christian Watts

Another great horror movie to check out when you got time is the original Evil Dead movie, I think it'll be something you enjoy.

there’s many halloween movies that have there own timeline going on with different creative teams. halloween (1978) has halloween 2, 4, 5, revenge and curse. H20 timeline has Halloween (1978) again and 2, the third movie is set 20 years later, hence the H20. Halloween (2018) removes all timelines and makes it a direct sequel to the original with his own trilogy with Halloween (2018) Halloween kills, halloween ends.

LimitlessEntertainment

It is hilarious how 90% of Halloween characters are horrible actors. And even if they aren't, their characters are extremely annoying. Still love the first two movies though. It has a certain charm to it...

Carlos

U making fun of the actress has me cracking up throughout this entire reaction 😂😂😂😂😂

Local Degenerate

if you ever heard of hellraiser then its directed by that guy clive barker, forgot to mention that. Another horror movie legend

DeathXWarfare

Please watch the newer Halloween trilogy after this, (Halloween 2018), it directly follows this movie and pretty much retcons everything from the other sequels

You've also got to see Hatchet 1-2 at least. They are very entertaining as slashers. Victor Crowley has the biggest chainsaw I've ever seen in one of the kill scenes. He puts Leatherface to shame. The gore is over the top in Hatchet 1-2 and there are a lot of different deaths/kills that are jaw dropping.

Kain D. Zero

I challenge you, Kai, to watch Hatchet 1 before Friday The 13th and the other horror movies. Hatchet movies are not held in as high regard as Halloween, Friday The 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street even though they are full of gore, cool and hilarious over the top kill scenes. Victor Crowley is an immortal beast and is played by Tyler Mane.

This movie is a classic! I really enjoyed your reaction! You really should check out 2018 Halloween!

Crackin' stuff! Another vote for the Halloween 2018 trilogy. It's easily the best timeline IMO. And, notably, Carpenter returned to assist on those films after a string of sequels without him. I definitely would recommend Halloween 2 from 1981 next, though, as that actually was written and produced by Carpenter and Debra Hill and is considered one of the stronger sequels.
