The problem with this movie is that it was trying to be Deadpool but wasn't about a character who could make that style make sense. Instead it's just a eyeroll-inducing parody of a superhero movie. I loved almost all the MCU movies up to this point but can't watch this one ever again and didn't bother with the next Thor movie. Taika Waititi has a particular style of comedy that only works for 2 minutes and then is repetitive and tiresome.

Yeah, I think it's good. I dislike Jeff Goldblum; he just kind of plays himself. Cate Blanchett does a good job playing Hela, and the writing for the rock creature is pretty good and funny and made me laugh. I think some of the criticism is because it leans a bit heavy on the comedy side. I have definitely seen worse.

Post-Endgame, you ladies should watch the Loki Disney+ series. Even if you don't react to it, if you're a Loki fan you will thoroughly enjoy it.

I knew you ladies would love this one. But now Chi is afraid of Hella. Are you really the goddess of death Hella? Too cute to be a death goddess. I suspect the Munchies will really like Black Panther. It’s such a different type of storytelling and has a much more emotional plot and a ‘villain’ with a lot more depth of character and relatability. Then, we finally reach Infinity War. I don’t think Hella will survive that one. Great reaction ladies!

Oh yeah Karl Urban.... Reminds me. Dredd (2012) is a fantastic movie. One of the best movies of the last 30 years that failed at the box office unfortunately.

This one has a bit of a different feel to it because Taika Waititi is directing and he is mostly a comedy guy/director. He also voices Korg, the rock-guy. I think his best work is What We Do In The Shadows and JoJo Rabbit. I don't know if you noticed but in the play near the beginning of the film Sam Neil, from Jurassic Park, is playing Odin, and Matt Damon is playing Loki. I thought that was really funny that big actors were playing actors from Asgard. You recognized Cate Blanchett from Lord of the Rings, but also Karl Urban who played Scurge in this movie(The Asgardian with a strong need for self-preservation) was also in Lord of the Rings. He played Eomer, one of the Riders of Rohan. He's on a hit show right now called The Boys. The Boys is also a superhero show but is very adult and very violent.

Sometimes the humor in this movie goes a bit over the top, but I still like it. The scenes with Odin (Anthony Hopkins) alone are so good and important for Thor. Yes, there is a Loki series, but it's a bit mediocre. Without spoiling too much, Loki (at least for me) is no longer the same character he is in the movies and is more or less a supporting character in his own series. The problem with the MCU after Endgame is that Disney has turned it into a fragmented mess. For example, if you haven't watched the series WandaVision, Doctor Strange 2 is a bit confusing at the beginning, or if you haven't seen Ms. Marvel and WandaVision you don't know two-thirds of the main characters from The Marvels. Bringing TV Shows into the MCU was one of the biggest mistakes Disney has made. On top of that, the quality of the stories has declined considerably; for example, there is no longer a good connecting story between the movies like there is now with the Infinite Stones. For me, the MCU ended with Endgame. The only things worth watching after Endgame are the two Spiderman movies and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. After this reaction, I'm so excited to see your reaction to Infiniti War. Only two weeks left and next week Black Panther is also a cool movie. That was a hilarious reaction, ladies, as always.💜

Well, it's impossible to connect the stories because they differed so far from their origin from the comics. Wandavision was a complete rewrite, dr strange 2 is a nostalgia bomb throw-back to how they COULD have connected things and ironically didn't (acknowledging the multiverse mess; bit on the nose), but overall I disagree that the shows destroyed the connectiveness since agent's of shield is not only a ridiculously good show but does the heavy lifting of attempting to fill in the gaps in the MCU. Introducing scarlet witch as some sort of side character destroyed it all, including endgame. Captain Marvel is some sort of bizarre joke, especially sitting on the same battlefield as Wanda. The AoS show at least tried to bring the darkhold in, but it was too little too late (though they easily portrayed what looked like a book as something beyond all comprehension, awesomely I will add =p). The shows were a last ditch effort to cash in on whatever momentum they had left, and Disney using the IP's they inherited/bought for absurd amounts of money for whatever they could lol

Edward, I've been seeing your comments for a while now, there are so many negative ones, you don't like this, you don't like that, always spreading negativity, would you please tone that down? Loki in series Loki is fantastic btw, it's one of the best written characters ever, and it's by far the best show MCU has done, especially Season 2.

great movie and a great reaction! out of two Taika Waititi's movies, i really love this one, and i don't really like the other one ^^ this one i fully enjoyed and made me laugh the entire time. once the phase 3 is over and you enter the phase 4 of MCU, we will enter the MCU era of movies+tv shows. it might be tough to react to all of the shows, but you should definitely react to Loki Series, it's one of the best shows i watched and it's the most praised one out of all MCU shows, especially if you like the character of Loki. since it's a show with 2 seasons (6+6 episodes), you can do like 2 episodes at a time, or maybe just do them 2-3 times a week etc. i've seen some people commenting that Loki Series is mediocre and that Loki's character is not as interesting in it, i honestly don't know what the hell(a) they are talking about, it's awesome! xD

On Disney Plus maybe you can get another areas but there is a series called Loki 2021 ‧ Action ‧ 2 seasons it's completely worth it especially at the second season the last episode was amazing!! Loki finally got what he deserved 😁😉

I know what Disney plus is about. But I'm telling you Loki is something different. In fact I was reading that most people get Disney plus just to watch this one show and then dropped their subscriptions. Loki is a whole other existence it's not woke or whatever you guys are saying seems like none of you have watched it. I know there's a lot of hate for Disney. I saw clips of the feminist Loki girl in season 1 and said nah. For season 2, haven't heard anything so I'll take your word for it. If they do decide to watch it I might watch-along.

Ignore the dudebros telling you guys to stop after Endgame. You'd be doing yourselves a huge disservice since there are so many great projects that come out of this current era (WandaVision, Loki, Shang-Chi, Hawkeye, No Way Home, Werewolf by Night, Wakanda Forever, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Agatha All Along, Daredevil Born Again, etc.)

The most praised MCU tv show, by any metric except IMDb, is WandaVision. I didn't care much for the Loki show, but i think MM should watch everything from the MCU.
