I'm loving these early evening drops (in my timezone). I can end my day perfectly with your reactions before I get ready to sleep.

Movie Munchies

Enjoy the reaction and sleep well! 😊❤️

More Firefly! I'm super excited for the last few episodes and the Serenity reaction after. I'm going to be sad when it's all over :-(

Rob M

Thank you for the reaction ladies! I really like the new release schedule. I hope it isn't too much of a burden for you since you are literally on the other side of the world from me. This show really knows how to pull on the heart strings.

This is such a good episode, Tracy really messed up trying to play them and then turning on them when he only heard part of the plan. He could have been a great addition to the crew but it's already a pretty full crew haha and we get a brief insight into Jayne's past with his mothers letter. The reason he's so money hungry is because he sends it to his mother for his sisters treatment. In a way he's very much like Simon and trying to take care of his family. It is so sad there are only so many episodes left and then the movie. This series is so so good and had so much potential, it was far ahead of it's time, but I'm glad there are still people finding it and enjoying it.

I often think that it is often overlooked how this episode totally changes what we know about Jayne. Previously, we knew that he was always money-driven and focused. Here we learn that he sends money to his mother, and it sounds like he might have a sickly relative in his mother's care that needs that money. Perhaps he was always family focused, not money focused. It might even change (or at least colour) the way we look back at his betrayal of Simon and River for money (not to mention the fact that she has slashed him with a knife for no reason). One of the great tragedies of Firefly being cancelled so early, is that Jayne never got a proper redemption arc.

I must be missing something, but I just can't work out how Tracey's smuggling was supposed to work. He had his original innards scooped out, so new innards could be put in, and smuggled to the place they were wanted because organs couldn't be moved in any other way. But when he got to where he had to smuggle them, he was to have them removed, and his original innards put back in. BUT ... how did his original innards get there? If they could be moved there outside of a body, why not the ones that were placed inside him? Is this a plot-hole, or am I just missing something obvious? No matter how many times I watch this episode (and numerous reactors reacting to it), I can't work this out, and no-one comments on it.

BTW ... great reaction, ladies! Always a joy to watch great TV and movies with you all. Is Hella okay, I haven't seen her in awhile?

Hello munchies! Let's go back! "Who's gonna get naked this time" Chi is having her priority it seems 😜😄 I also wish Inara change her "job" to get full time with the team ( and the captain 😉) For the episode Why does the guy is having a skull on the back of his hat, Instead of in front??? 🤣 Poor aborted cow... But funny/cute to see Kaylee and doc together. Oh the dumb one !!!! Clearly, everyone will understand " I go with you... because nobody else is available" ! How, in the all universe, a genius doctor like him can think it's a good thing to say to a woman!!!??? 🤣🤣 He's lucky she dint slapped him! 😄 Ho... Jayne sending money to his mom is so sweet. Now I'm conflicted with him. Before he was the "assh*les of the team" , driven only by money. But now , as he is also helping his mom, he's less the "a**hole" than another "very good guy" in a team full of it. In a way, it's good synergy, in other hand, we loose a little flavour I think... But that's ok. He won more in comedy!😁 "Who ordered a dead guy?" 😂 What's that again... No survival instinct with that soldier... 😄 Zoe: assassin of the battlefield, nobody can hear her. 🥷😅 Mal: the discretion of a column of thanks firing...🤯🤯🤣🤣🤣 How did he survived the war?? "Husband, help your wife" as she spoke to the priest, she wouldn't allow him to. She and Mal will carry him as a funeral procession, as they know him. River ?? He's alive?? , everyone jumped! Well, now we know who "get naked this time" don't we Chi ? 😜😅 Growing someone else organs inside yours to sell before getting yours back ... 😲 That's messed up ! 🤣 How did he get his original organ back by the way? Where are they?!😅 Ok wash's piloting is impressive with such a big ship. Saps =foolish. Gullible. Easy to trick. Yes, this episode is very sad...but as Mal said: he brought this upon himself. It's sad that it has to be Mal and Zoe to kill him and bring his body. Even more as they have common past. But he betrayed them, try to use them and didn't even tried to trust them. So ,sad ? Yes a little. It's a pity. But I'm more sad for the crew having to deal with him than actually his death . Not as funny as usual, but still very good! And again, the shepherd is full of surprises. ( How did he know so much about the government's way ??) The more it goes, the more I'm curious) Eager to see the next one. Thanks for the good times! Have a beautiful day munchies!

After you watch the movie Serenity, you girls have got to watch the documentary Done The Impossible. It's about how the movie got made.

Sigh...only 2 more episodes to go. This episode ended on a more solemn note but it was still enjoyable to see Chi, Yuna and Katie react to it. The next 2 episodes will make up for this one being such a downer. The next episode (Heart of Gold) and the final episode (Objects in Space) are really good. Looking forward to watching Movie Munchies react to them.

Alex Anderson

Most overrated show of all time. I think I say "Shut up, Katie" at least 5 times during any reaction she's involved in.

David Turgeon

I agree that is a huge hole. This episode is really weak. The only good part is Jayne getting an awesome hat and more backstory.

MrAwesome

Please watch Buffy the vampire slayer TV series next.

It isn't illegal to transport human innards, just the laboratory ones.
