I wonder if there is a plan about Avengers Doomsday, Spider-Man: Brand New Day can be watched mostly by itself even if they may miss some small references to movies/TV they skipped, Avengers Doomsday will likely be the biggest movie of the year so I imagine they would want to react to it but they would need to catch up a bit first, otherwise it will be a bit confusing (also I imagine Spider-Man will be involved somewhere either in Doomsday or Secret Wars or both). I’m just saying if you had problems keeping away from Spider-Man spoilers keeping away from Doomsday spoilers is going to be near impossible, so if you want to get ready and if you want to watch Doomsday, you might want to get started catching up soon Of course maybe the movie comes out and is a giant disappointment so maybe you want to wait until the movie actually comes out to decide, up to you of course

I think Doomsday will speed run over the points and try and treat it directly from endgame. Due to the mixed post end game run i think they will want to try and get people that fell off after end game back in with out having to watch the tv shows or movies to do so. Not to say i did not enjoy post end game I liked dr strange FF and loki and would not mind them doing a catch up.

Thank you for the surprise reaction! Although the MCU kinda dipped in quality after Endgame I do think there are some select movies that are genuinely worth watching because they’re either great or enjoyable and this film is definitely one of them. Although I would understand if you guys didn’t want to react to more MCU, I do think there are some movies that I think you guys would enjoy or love. In order of release: - Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - Black Widow (I know this movie gets some hate but I do personally think the munchies would enjoy it a lot and it sets up Thunderbolts) - Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - Thunderbolts - Fantastic Four: First Steps It’s totally optional to see these and it’s just my personal opinion you guys would enjoy these films a lot! Plus a lot of them set up the new avengers movie. Anyways thanks again for the reaction

I understand that they will probably be able to mostly piece together what is going on but it makes for a much more satisfying reaction if they know what has led to this, they could technically just look up what happened in Thunderbolts on wikipedia but surely getting to know them in their own movie before going into Doomsday is preferable and leads to a better reaction, plus people will definitely complain if they skip straight to Doomsday, even if they just do a few of the movies that is more preferable then nothing! But anyway i guess we'll only really know how important catching up is when the movie comes out

I don't know if you ever plan on watching the Black Widow movie, but it'll make more sense as to why Yelena is the new Black Widow. Plus you get to see Natasha one last time and find out about her past. Also Frank Castle is known as "The Punisher". There are 3 movies and a tv series that would be cool to see you react to. I haven't seen the 1989 version, but I like the 2004 and 2008 ones.

Hello "spider-Munchies" !!! That's a big surprises !!! I didn't get the occasion to see it in cinema.... so we will discover it together! The only problem...there's a lot of new character that we met in other MCU's movies. so you lack background a little. but i'll help you (and I will certainly be not the only one. and of course, with the least spoiler as possible just in case) but i'm happy to be here with you !! I hear you Hella. avoiding spoils today is mission impossible. Anyway, let"s take our best costume and our web-slinger and just jump on it !! For the movie (and intell about character) Spidey flying while holding the criminal in the begining is a comics's first page reference . they made a lot of them. "Who are you" tombstones! (not joking that's his name. a mafia guy with super-force, stamina and resistance). and scorpio. a guy trained and euqiped to fight spider-man (very friendly here 🤣) Punisher (frank castles): A vigliante , antihero. he has his own marvel show. so if you need background it's there. but let's say, in the great lines: he do what the police won't (even torturing and killing) and no superpower, just an ex-soldiers making is own justice. What's scary some are using his image to justify doing justice by themselves and killing criminals and some policeman in US even put his "skull" (on his shirt) on their police-car. Venom still have his "alien-slimy" form. it's not venom. Yelena Belova. the "new Black widow" and member of the "new avengers" . yeah for this character, you need to see the others MCU's movies. I will not say more. Just after seeing the "new avengers" in action... the "small potato" is maybe already too much for them 😅. if you look at the movie, you'll understand. "that's what you had a "she's black widow?"" moment. Chewbaca! yes Hella that's it! Yes it's looking a lot like sipder-man too with Tobey. he even developed his own organic web. that's not a common thing at all in comics. Wait...If Banner and Hulk made "peace" in endgame. having this "smart-Hulk". whe does he need an inhibitor again? and the xmen are coming in the MCU. somehow, I'm happy to see our big angry green hulk back! 🤣 LIke Hella said "that's the Hulk!" "that's so iconic" so much, it's another comics reference. "but it's OK to make it!" Chi will be a very good punisher ! 🤣 "Frank ! you shouldn't do that!" you don't know the punisher! 🤣 For the conclusion I agree with Chi. the web action was so good (and personnally, i'll never get tired of web action). but it's also a really good spider-man story. spidey's story are very often about that. (just look Spider-man 2 with tobey) or the amazing spider-man 2 also. They add Jean and the future X-men for the MCU quite well. (the problem with the univer of marvel in general for the comics is "how do you justify to have one group of special people who's loved (the avengers and cie) and another everyone hate and want to destroy (the mutant/xmen)). And I think (maybe except "new Black widow") each guest (punisher, jean, hulk) was very well used. they aren't just cameos. thanks for the wonderfull time! Have a beautifull day munchies!

Great movie! Great reaction! I guess you didn't see the Thunderbolts movie. Yelena is the new Black Widow. She was trained by the same group Natasha was. Also, you'll get more of the actor who played Scorpion in Better Call Saul. He's great in that.

This was a very good Tom Holland Spider-man film. It was very refreshing to not have the usual amount of forced and unnecessary Disney humor. Not every MCU film needs to be a comedy. You haven't seen the Black Widow movie where "Yelena" the new Black Widow was introduced. She's also in Thunderbolts, another MCU film you haven't watched. Frank Castle is a vigilante in Marvel Comics who first appeared in a Spider-man comic from the 70's. He's known as The Punisher and has had other movies before the MCU existed and also has had streaming shows. Disney made Frank Castle more "kid friendly" for this film. The mid credit scene is connected to Avengers: Secret Wars (it hasn't even been filmed yet). That film will follow Avengers: Doomsday which comes out in theaters Dec 18, 2026.

You should have watched Thunderbolts. It's one of the few good Marvel films after Endgame. That's where Yelena is from. I think it will be important for Doomsday

You guys missed SOOOO MUCH of the MCU post endgame that you dont know much about a lot of the new characters. Youve missed about 15+ movies post endgame, and you havent seen Daredevil, Punisher, Loki, Wandavision etc and all of the MCU TV shows aswell. Youve missed soooo much by skipping the MCU post endgame. A lot of shows and movies you can skip, but a lot you also need to see to understand new dynamics. you guys also forgot that this peter doesnt use oragnic webs (but mechanicl shooters), only Tobeys peter could. This movie is great, the first truly good MCU film in a long time. I really hope the 'Brand New Day' in the title signals a new era for the MCU. A return to its former strengths, rather than just a "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks" approach. I really like the idea that Spider-Man has essentially leveled up; he’s finally reaching Tobey’s level.😅 But seriously, the idea introduced so casually in the film, that spiders go through different life stages, works well and is interesting. It also fits with the merging of the MCU and the X-Men universe. With the X-Men, it’s common for mutant powers to evolve over time, with mutants gaining entirely new abilities. I also like this somewhat more family-friendly version of the Punisher. The Punisher is usually a very violent, R-rated anti-hero, much like Deadpool. You guys should check out the Punisher series sometime; I think you’d like it. I just love Jon Bernthal as an actor, he’s so underrated. I think Hella initially confused the Punisher with Agent Rumlow (from Hydra in The Winter Soldier). You have to admit the two actors look alike, but they are distinct characters. Especially since Rumlow becomes a villain in Civil War. And it was great to see the real Hulk again, rather than the watered-down version from the Infinity War era. I think if this Hulk had fought Thanos, Infinity War might not have even happened.😅 My only criticism is that Jean’s plan is unnecessarily complicated. I mean, all those attacks on Damage Control were unneeded. She could have just used mind-control jumps to infiltrate Damage Control until she reached Metzger; she would have achieved her goal without anyone getting hurt. It really seemed like they had no real defense against the mind control other than keeping their distance. Yes, I know, the way it plays out makes the first act much more exciting, but it’s still a slightly illogical detail that stands out in an otherwise good movie. I’m really excited for Avengers: Doomsday. It’s the first time in a long while that I’ve been genuinely hyped for an MCU movie. I was really skeptical about the casting choice for Dr. Doom at first, but I’ve since heard some interesting theories on how that casting could actually make sense. Luckily, it won’t be long before the movie hits theaters. If you want to see more of Jon Bernthal, I can recommend the movie The Accountant (2016) for a reaction. Even though Mr. Batfleck (Ben Affleck) plays the lead, Jon Bernthal has an interesting role in the film, too. That was a great surprise, and as always, a great reaction, ladies.💜

Yelena is actually introduced in the Black Widow movie. It's not one of the more popular Marvel movies but it's actually a lot of fun (even though the ending devolves into the unfortunately too common CGI slopfest and it criminally underdevelops Taskmaster).

Great reaction, ladies. This is my second time watching it, and what a fun ride. When Peter finally accepts who he is, he becomes so much stronger as Spider-man and the confidence in himself. Great reaction - it reminds me how great your MCU reactions were. Please go back and catch up with all the latest MCU movies and TV shows. There are some really good ones, and even the not fantastic movies have lots of really good qualities. The TV shows are all short, typically about 6 episodes - only equivalent to 2 or 3 movie series (if you do them in blocks of 2 or 3 episodes each reaction video). I think you will especially enjoy the Ms Marvel TV show, the MCU's first Pakistani teen girl superhero - who is a you-tube content creator (an Avengers fan no-less!). You might relate .... the best teen superhero Marvel has created since Spiderman.
