This is an interesting pairing of episodes, because "The Great Divide" is most peoples least favorite episode of the entire series. I have no problem with it, it's a fine episode. But it's a good sign if that's the low point of the series, it looks good for the rest of the show. On the other hand, "The Storm" is the episode most people can't wait for others to get to. Great episode with good backstories. I really like how we have yet to see Zuko's father. Just always in the shadows. Could've used more cabbages, though.

The Storm is definitely where the show starts getting strong imo. Getting Aang and Zuko's backstories adds some emotional weight to their characters. Only gets better from here!
