The thing I love about Iroh he always call him Prince Zuko. He always give him that respect.

That scene under Lake Laogai where Iroh is begging Zuko to think about his actions is one of my favorite moments in the series. Iroh rarely gets that intense and it shows how badly he wants Zuko to find the right path. I've always especially admired the voice acting (RIP Mako). Also not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but Iroh's voice actor Makoto "Mako" Iwamatsu passed away from cancer while recording dialogue for season 2 and that's what the tribute was for after Iroh's segment in Tales of Ba Sing Se.

"did they just kill him" it was really unclear the annoying part about this show sometimes is stuff happens and i REALLY want to discuss it because i have big feelings about it, but having seen the whole show, it's hard to do without spoilers from later. i feel like toph is better at seeing what's underground than most earth benders the boulder disagrees with your assessment that aang is better than him the earth king never interacts with the people so it was easy for long feng to mess with him the one person to have breached the walls was iroh back in his probably a war criminal era. the fan name for azula's team is ozai's angels the avatar isn't always the most powerful bender in each element. they're just strong in all elements (once they learn them) ngl i've been waiting for the reaction to the s2 finale since you started. so next week is going to be fun :D

Technically Iroh and Zuko infiltrated Ba Sing Se before Azula, as refugees. 😊
