thank you so much for uploading this!! i definitely like this version better than the OG, but then again i do prefer rock over pop as a genre. her vocals were insaneeeeeeee. she would absolutely kill a rock album. or hell, rock versions of her own existing songs. i feel like back to december would killll as a rock version

Omg after I went to the 1989 tour I scoured the internet to try to find this I was obsessed! I found the video from when she did it in Japan and it was also awesome. She had a prelude to it saying she tried to imagine her music more in a 1989 or 90s vibe and I think she nailed it. That’s why we want a whole album like this!

As a long time swiftie, I personally love when she switches up the production of a song in eras after the songs original release. It’s like experiencing the song for the first time again. Also, it’s mind blowing how versatile she is from pop, country, folk, to rock. Many artists can’t pull that off.
