WMUWSE / Chapter 6 (ENG) (Patreon)

Izuku Midoriya wasn't an idiot. He'd always had the best grades, he was always curious about everything, and he always needed to know how things worked.
And he loved puzzles.
But he had never had a puzzle that annoyed him as much as the one he had right now.
Because yes, Katsuki had kissed him, and he had kissed Katsuki back. And since then? He couldn't think of anything else.
He was thinking about it, again and again and again… Wondering what had pushed the blond to want to kiss him as much as Izuku had wanted to…
When he contacted the group chat, with Ochaco and Denki, in the middle of the night after their kiss, the messages had exploded. Denki had asked him if he wanted him to join him in Kirishima's room to discuss it, but Izuku had refused. Talking about it out loud when the main person concerned was in the next room? No thanks.
His friends had been quite encouraging, as surprising as that was, especially from Ochaco. But she seemed to have understood that whatever she said, she couldn't stop the "love train." So she decided to support him and, in the worst-case scenario, be there to comfort him if needed.
After venting everything on his heart and saying how much better his first kiss had been than anything he could have imagined, he finally fell asleep. Well, "sleeping" was a strong word, because his brain refused to shut down and his heart was still beating too fast.
And so, in the early morning, he was there, sitting on the chalet steps, enjoying the morning coolness and watching the sun gradually pierce through the leaves of the trees, his long-cold tea placed beside him…
It was almost 11 a.m. when he heard Sero and Kaminari come out of their room, the blond yawning loudly and Sero scratching his belly.
Yeah, maybe they should stop going to bed so late…
He walked into the chalet and sat on the sofa, greeting them.
"Hey, Mido. Have you been up long?" Sero asked while making coffee.
"Not that long," he lied. "Did you sleep well?"
"Duuude," Denki groaned, collapsing onto the sofa and sprawling on top of Izuku, "I wanna sleep 'til next year… Better yet, wake me up when they decide to make a remaster of Lovely Complex…"
Deku laughed, but he couldn't help but feel guilty. It was his fault his friend had fallen asleep late, after all.
"Come on, Denks, we're going to spend the day at the lake, you can sleep there if you want." Sero told him, pouring steaming coffee into a mug to serve Denki. He turned, giving a smile that Izuku had only seen him make when he was plotting something. "And Kats can stay with Deku~"
… Huh?
The way he said the nickname Katsuki gave him… goddamn-
"YOU TOLD HIM?!" Izuku abruptly stood up, watching Kaminari fall back onto the sofa.
"Ow! In my defense, we share a room! And he was curious who I was talking to in the middle of the night!" the blond defended himself.
"I won't say anything, if that's what you're worried about." Sero reassured him with a wink. Izuku looked at the two boys in turn, completely speechless. Then, as if to push him off a cliff, the brunette added, "It's not like it wasn't obvious, anyway."
Izuku groaned, slumping back onto the sofa, his shoulders sagging. He felt totally drained. He thought vacations were for relaxing, not for being an inexhaustible source of stress.
He heard a noise coming from Katsuki's room and immediately paled.
Imagine for a second that he had heard everything? They hadn't talked about it yet… He didn't even know if he could tell the others… Oh my god, he said it, and now Katsuki is going to be angry and twist his neck into a pretzel…
The blond finally came out of his room, still half-asleep, his hair messy from sleep, the pillow mark on his cheek. At least one of them had slept well…
He didn't say anything or look at anyone, heading straight for the coffee maker to pour himself a cup before returning to his room with his mug and slamming the door.
The other three had watched the scene as if they were simple pieces of furniture.
And then, as if nothing had happened, Sero and Denki decided to leave for the lake, because why not?
Izuku hesitated to follow them. He looked at the door behind which the blond was hiding, remembering the other's lips against his own… Was he really the only one who had felt that… thing? Whatever it was…
He sighed and finally decided to go out. Maybe it would clear his head a bit. He could talk to Katsuki when he was fully awake.
Kirishima and Mina were already by the lake, accompanied by Shouto, which Izuku found quite surprising.
He looked around just to check that the elder Todoroki wasn't nearby.
"He's gone until the end of the week, something to do with his band, apparently." Shouto surprised him as Izuku reached them.
Izuku blushed slightly with embarrassment. "O-oh… okay…" He placed his towel next to the boy's and sat down.
"I heard about what he did. I'm sorry he's…" he made a vague gesture with his hand. "…like that…"
They both watched the other four run towards the water, leaving them alone.
"It's okay, it wasn't that serious," Izuku smiled.
"Mmh… I'd still like to apologize for him…" Shouto hesitated for a moment, looking up at the late morning sky. "Do you want to have lunch with me? My treat."
Izuku turned to him, eyes wide. "What? No! You don't have to… I…" He was stopped by the heterochromatic and almost pleading look the other boy gave him. "…Okay…" he sighed. "But it's a lunch between friends, not because your brother is an ass."
The corner of the boy's lips lifted. "That works for me."
They continued talking for long minutes. It was easy to be with Shouto, perhaps because he was a very good listener and Izuku talked a lot… Anyway, he had nothing to do with his brother, to his great pleasure.
At lunchtime, they split into two groups, the boys and Mina returning to the chalet to eat, and Shouto and Izuku heading towards the Todoroki's tent.
Shouto had told him he knew a small restaurant not far from here, so they took his car and drove there.
Izuku recognized the small village where they had done karaoke and couldn't help but feel a myriad of emotions recalling that evening.
But before he could get too lost in his head, Shouto parked the car right next to a restaurant.
The facade wasn't much to look at. It was a small building attached to others, without a grand storefront. There was just a small glass door and the restaurant's logo elegantly painted on it. If you weren't paying attention, you might miss it.
The boy opened the door for him, and Izuku thanked him as he entered.
And, okay.
Izuku might have been starting to panic a little.
Because from the outside, the restaurant might not have been extravagant, but the inside was something else entirely. It was chic, the walls were made of beige and white bricks, the place had no windows since it was sandwiched between two buildings, but the subdued lighting gave the place a very romantic effect. There were warm-toned pendant lamps hanging from the ceiling, as well as candles in white glass on the tables. The floor was made of light wood parquet, the same shade as the wooden tables in the small room, which were covered with off-white linen tablecloths.
You see why Izuku was starting to panic?
Because it looked like a place you'd take a date, certainly not a friend.
Should he point it out to Shouto? Looking at him talking to the hostess at the entrance, the boy didn't seem to care. He didn't even seem to notice Izuku's internal conflict. And it was nothing like the panic he felt when he was with Katsuki. Because here, it was only discomfort. Had he sent the wrong signals to Shouto? Was he too enthusiastic? Well, he had told him he thought he was handsome… so maybe he had been misunderstood…
The hostess led them to their table, and Izuku followed on autopilot until he was sitting on the chairs… armchair? These things were armchairs! My god, they were so cozy and comfortable… And they swiveled!
"Am I doing too much?"
Shouto's voice brought him back to earth, and he stopped spinning on his chair, looking at the other boy with a stupid expression. "Uh… sorry, what?"
He gestured around the restaurant. "It's too much, isn't it?"
Izuku looked at him. And maybe he was panicking for nothing after all, because the boy wasn't looking at him with apprehension, but was sincerely asking Izuku the question. As if he really wanted to do his best.
"N-no… well… I've just never been to a place like this, it's… um…"
"Romantic?"
Izuku couldn't help but wince. "…yeah…"
Shouto leaned back in his seat and sighed. "Sorry… it's the only restaurant around here that I know and that makes amazing soba."
Izuku blinked. "Soba?"
Shouto nodded.
"We came here… for soba?"
He saw a flash of red on Shouto's cheekbones. "Well… I haven't had any in a while… so…"
Izuku couldn't help but laugh, and Shouto looked at him, perplexed. This was yet more proof that Izuku was overthinking the situation.
My god, what an idiot.
"Sorry…" he said, wiping a tear from his eye, "I thought you took me on a date without telling me…"
It was Shouto's turn to blink. "Sorry, but I already have a boyfriend."
Izuku started laughing again, because he had just been rejected when he hadn't asked for anything. It was ridiculous, but hilarious.
Finally, they resumed a normal discussion. They both ordered soba because Shouto insisted too much on their quality and Izuku was curious, then ate while continuing to chat.
"So you're here to find out more about your father?" Shouto asked, putting down his chopsticks.
"Sort of? Actually, I'm mainly looking for a way to rekindle my memories. It's… it's kind of my last-ditch idea? Nothing has ever really worked… I even tried hypnosis once, a disaster…"
"And so far, has it worked? You've been here for a while."
"Well…" Izuku lowered his eyes to his half-empty glass of water. "It's pretty weird, I get sensations of déjà vu, I have strange dreams, and sometimes I feel like I'm this close to discovering something, but it always slips away from me. It's kind of like trying to catch water with a sieve…"
Shouto seemed to think for a moment. "You said you were here 12 years ago, right?"
Izuku nodded.
Shouto looked at him for a few seconds in silence, as if trying to figure out if he should say what he wanted to say. Then… "…Katsuki too… Don't you think you could have-"
Izuku shook his head. Of course, he wasn't stupid. He had quickly made the connection with the dates when he knew Katsuki had always been a regular. But the campsite was very large, and the chances of him and Katsuki having known each other were still quite slim, and even if they had, Katsuki would have told him, right? He surely would have recognized Izuku.
He shared his thoughts with Shouto, who simply hummed in response.
"Yeah, Katsuki has an incredible memory, he wouldn't have forgotten you if he had known you," Shouto told him.
"Right?" He laughed a little. "But it's still thrilling, you know? Knowing that someone I could have known, who might have known my father, was here too…" he sighed. "I don't even know what to look for… Where to start… I don't even know which pitch we were on, if we were in a tent, or whatever… The only information I have comes from newspapers of the time, and those only talk about the accident, not what happened before…"
Honestly, the more days passed, the more he lost hope of regaining his childhood. On top of that, his head was full of a certain blond, so that wasn't really helping.
Izuku knew he loved his father. He felt it every time he thought of him. Even without any of his memories with him, he felt the pang in his heart as if he missed him. So yes, he really hoped this summer would help… but now it had been almost a month since he arrived, and he had nothing but a few smells and strange flashes of a boy who had no face.
"But maybe he could help you anyway?" Shouto suggested.
Izuku looked at him, raising an eyebrow, waiting for him to elaborate.
"What I mean is that even if Katsuki didn't know you at that time, he spent his entire childhood at this campsite, well, his summers… he knows it like the back of his hand, as well as the regulars. He could help you find clues? You should ask him."
Well… he hadn't really thought about it… Thinking about it a bit, it was true that he seemed to know some people well… After all, he had helped Mina get her summer job because he knew the campsite director… And that gentleman at the arcade seemed to know him well too… It wasn't a bad idea. They were children back then, and children love to explore this kind of place and-
"Wait, you said Katsuki had an excellent memory?" Izuku asked.
"Hmm, I said incredible, but yes."
"He… he said he built a treehouse when he was a kid but he couldn't remember where."
Shouto looked at him as if he were the biggest idiot on earth. "Impossible."
They exchanged a look.
"Why?" Izuku asked.
"Listen, Midoriya, Bakugou is many things, but he has a photographic memory that defies understanding, he has a great sense of direction to the point of making GPS devices jealous. He remembers every musical score after reading it once. He. Never. Forgets. Anything. That guy could lose a shirt button in the middle of a forest in the middle of the night completely drunk, he'd still remember where it happened."
"…So why would he have said that?"
Shouto shrugged. "Ask him." He took a sip of his water. "Look, you really should talk to him. If the few years I've spent with him have taught me anything, it's that he's not a liar, and he's not a bad person. So if he actually lied to you about that, it must be for a very, very good reason… I hope."
Izuku groaned. He closed his eyes and rubbed his temples. That didn't really reassure him…
There was no logic to Katsuki lying about that. Why would he? What would it gain him? Why would he have offered to look for it with Izuku then? And why did Katsuki Bakugou continue to be more and more mysterious?!
They were going to have to talk.
They finished their meal, and Shouto drove them back to the campsite. They parted with a friendly hug in front of the chalet before Izuku went inside. The others had surely returned to the lake. Ochaco had contacted him on the way back to tell him her mother had taken her hostage, and she would probably return late, which made Izuku smile.
He would join the others at the lake later. For now, his stomach was full, and he hadn't slept enough. Maybe a nap would do him good-
He stopped the moment his hand touched the handle of Kirishima's room.
He looked behind him. Bakugou's door was ajar, and he vaguely heard the sound of guitar strings. Then a soft voice, like a whisper…
He was undeniably drawn like a moth to the light…
He was careful not to make a sound, walking slowly, quietly getting closer.
His heart was pounding a mile a minute.
The sound of the guitar vibrated every fiber of his being.
Katsuki's voice grew louder, clearer, and Izuku felt his skin shiver.
He was singing, surely thinking he was alone. And Izuku stood in front of his door. He didn't know exactly why; he could have just turned and left, but something in Katsuki's voice froze him and compelled him to stay, to listen.
The music was beautiful; he didn't recognize it, but every word the blond sang was soft and filled with melancholy.
Izuku turned and leaned against the wall next to the door, slowly sliding to the floor. He rested his head back and closed his eyes. He let the voice of the man he loved pass through his body to reach his heart…
I was just guessing at numbers and figures
Pulling the puzzles apart
Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart
But tell me you love me, come back and haunt me
Oh, and I rush to the start
Runnin' in circles, chasin' our tails
Coming back as we are…
Katsuki's voice was filled with raw emotion, piercing Izuku's heart again and again…
Of course, he knew Katsuki had a nice voice. He had heard him sing before, after all.
But this was different.
He wondered why the other boy seemed so sad, or was it simply his way of singing?
He remembered the blond had spoken of someone he had lost… Was he singing for that person? Was the pain still so sharp after all these years?
He was so caught up in the sensations of his own body and his reflections that he didn't even hear the blond stop singing. His guitar was no longer emitting sound. And the moment Izuku regained self-awareness, it was too late.
He felt the draft from the door opening right next to him and immediately looked up with surely a stupid expression because honestly, he had absolutely no idea what to do with himself or how to explain why he was sitting there on the floor like an idiot.
Green met red, and for a second, Izuku thought about apologizing for listening without Katsuki's consent, but the latter said nothing.
He turned away, put on his shoes, opened the door, and simply said. "I'm joining the others at the lake. You should come." He didn't wait for an answer, letting the door close behind him.
Izuku, still sitting on the floor, watched the other leave as if nothing had happened.
After two minutes, he shook his head and stood up.
He was totally lost.
And damn it… he had missed an opportunity to talk to the blond…
…
Or was he doing it on purpose?
Mmh…
He wasn't avoiding Izuku, was he? He spoke to him normally… Well, as normal as Katsuki Bakugou could be… and he didn't run away to meet other people…
And by "meet" Izuku meant "go see if he couldn't find a hole to fill."
He winced at that disgusting thought.
Okay, maybe he was a little jealous, and still very bitter about the girl's post on Insta.
Whatever.
He ran to catch up with Katsuki on the way to the lake, but the blond was already almost there, so for private discussions, he would have to wait again…
He sighed.
"What's wrong with you, nerd?" the blond asked. "Wasn't your date to your liking?"
"Nothing, I just-" Izuku froze and looked up at the blond. "A… date?"
Katsuki stopped in front of him and looked at him with a raised eyebrow. His hands were shoved into the pockets of his swim shorts. "With the candy cane," he said in a tone that could drop the temperature by 10 degrees, making Izuku even more confused. "Mina told me he invited you to the restaurant this noon."
… Huh?
Wait…
Wait, wait…
They had kissed less than 24 hours ago, and this jerk thought Izuku wanted to go out with someone else? Izuku wasn't the one sleeping with a new person every night! He felt his jaw tighten. "It wasn't a date… And Shouto has a boyfriend…"
"Oh yeah?" The blond let out a nasty laugh. "Didn't he drive you back to the chalet? What a gentleman." He mocked. A silence settled, then he turned around and continued walking. "And I saw you hug him."
Izuku was speechless for a moment…
Wait again…
"He invited me to apologize for his brother…" No way… was he… "…Are you jealous?"
Katsuki stopped again and, with red ears, turned to Izuku, growling at him, his eyebrows more furrowed than ever, his upper lip pulled back to show his sharp canine teeth… Bite me, please… Izuku's lizard brain thought. "HUUUH?!" the blond suddenly shouted.
Izuku knew the other was trying to look scary, but frankly, he couldn't stop himself from laughing. It was rather adorable, and Izuku was madly in love… He looked like those small dogs that try to appear aggressive but are just too cute.
"Dammit, stop laughing!!!" He stepped towards Izuku with a murderous look, and even if Izuku couldn't stop laughing, he still valued his life. So he went around the blond and started running towards the lake, already seeing his friends in the water waving at him. "GET BACK HERE, ASSHOLE!"
He didn't turn around, but he knew, thanks to the angry shouts behind him, that the blond was close behind. He threw his T-shirt onto Denki's towel, and hopped to take off his shoes and throw them somewhere not far. He continued running until he was in the lake with the others.
Katsuki had stopped running after him. He was at the edge of the lake, shouting what must have been death threats at Izuku, but all he could hear were the people in the water around him laughing.
"Shit, man, what did you do to him? We can practically see smoke coming out of his nostrils." Kirishima laughed, seeing his best friend stomp his foot like an angry little boy.
"Wait, don't say anything, Mido! I'll try to guess…" Denki held his chin between his thumb and index finger, his eyebrows furrowed in fake intense reflection. "I think you told him his All Might boxers were ridiculous!" He said it so loud, almost screaming, so much so that the boy on the shore hastily removed his clothes until he was only in his shorts and joined them, heading straight for the electric blond.
Izuku took mental note to try and check out those famous All Might boxers himself. As a fan of the superhero, you know.
"This is the day you die drowned." Katsuki told Denki. Izuku started laughing, and the other turned his murderous gaze towards him. "Don't think I forgot about you, nerd."
What followed was a chase in the water and a lot of laughter.
Izuku knew Katsuki wasn't really angry, if the savage grin he could glimpse while avoiding the blond was any indication. And this was the Katsuki Izuku had fallen head over heels in love with.
Laughter and the sound of water filled his ears, his smile had been frozen on his face for so long that his cheeks hurt…
But his happiness couldn't last, could it? As soon as Katsuki did something that sent Izuku to the top of the world, the next moment he would do something else that sent him plummeting violently to the depths of hell.
When the others had tired of splashing in the water, they left Izuku and Katsuki alone in the water.
So Izuku took the opportunity to approach Katsuki and try to talk. "Hey, Kats-"
"I need to go ask Kirishima something."
And he got out of the water, leaving Izuku speechless in the middle of the lake. The water suddenly felt very cold on his skin.
Well, it might just be a thought at this stage. Maybe Katsuki wasn't really avoiding Izuku, maybe he had something important to tell Kirishima…
If that was all it was, it would be fine. Izuku could wait…
But then, it started again.
Izuku had quickly rejoined the rest of the group on the lake shore. And the moment Katsuki offered to go get snacks for everyone, he offered to accompany him, but before he could get up from his towel, the blond announced that Sero was going with him.
And again…
Back at the chalet, Denki and Sero decided to go do their laundry, Kirishima having already left with Mina. The moment the two boys passed the door, Katsuki looked at Izuku as if he was thinking about something, then he ran to join them, claiming they didn't know how to use the washing machines correctly.
And again…
Once the early evening was well underway, Izuku offered to go get beers for everyone since there were none left. Mina, in her legendary grace, winked at him and said, "You should take Bakugou with you."
Izuku didn't even have time to be embarrassed before he could already see the other freeze slightly before answering her. "I need to take a shower, ask your idiot boyfriend." he told the girl. And with that, he got up from his seat at the table, grabbed a few things, threw a clean towel over his shoulder, and left the chalet.
"Dude…" Kaminari said to him with empathy.
He looked around at everyone staring at him with pity.
Oh… he wasn't the only one who had noticed, then…
"He's avoiding me, isn't he?" Izuku asked, instinctively looking down at the bracelet on his wrist.
"I don't know what's going on, but really, I can practically see the tension between you…" Mina told him. "Midobabe, you two really need to talk."
"That's what I've been trying to do all day!" Izuku defended himself. "But every time I try or we end up alone… he does that!" He gestured towards the door where Katsuki had just disappeared. "He doesn't want to be alone with me for some reason!"
Kirishima sighed "Bakugou is… how should I put it… he's really bad at verbally expressing what he feels, he's like that…" He thought for a moment. "Look, I know this sucks as an idea, but you should simply trap him somewhere he can't escape and force him to talk..."
"And break this damn tension because it's getting suffocating, man." Sero said, biting into a chip. Mina elbowed him in the arm.
Trap him…
A place where he couldn't-
Izuku stood up so fast that the chair threatened to fall, but he didn't care. He turned and walked quickly towards the door, almost stumbling. Once outside, he ran towards the showers.
His head was too empty, or too full, or whatever, but he knew this was the best time to corner the other. So he looked for the cubicle where the blond might be.
Luckily, there was only one locked cubicle, the small red line on the lock taunting Izuku.
He could hear someone moving and the sound of clothes rustling inside…
And maybe if he wasn't so stupid he wouldn't have done what he did, maybe he could have simply talked through the door, like a half-normal human being.
But Izuku was an idiot in love, and he needed to see him. They had to talk, face to face.
He looked at the lock. He didn't have a key or a card on him as Katsuki had explained… So he unlocked it… with his fingernail… my god, this thing is really not secure at all… He quickly stepped inside and closed the door behind him.
He turned and leaned against the door, locking the latch.
Then he looked up.
Amateur mistake.
There, in front of him, was Katsuki.
Naked.
Like, really, really naked.
Apparently, the blond was about to press the button to turn on the shower, but his body was frozen, his hand suspended uselessly in the air, as he looked at Izuku with a totally stunned expression.
And Izuku's eyes were all over him.
There was a buzzing in his ears, his face was starting to overheat, and his heart was beating too fast.
Damn…
This guy really had been sculpted by the gods.
Or was he a god himself?
And okay, Izuku was really gay, he knew he really liked dicks.
But this one?
My god, he would start a war and conquer the world for that dick.
How could a sex organ be so… perfect? It's only supposed to be a piece of flesh…
Even without an erection, it was a good size. A twisted part of his brain was trying to measure it just by observing, the other part was trying to keep his saliva in his mouth, and to desperately keep his own dick in his swim shorts.
"THE FUCK?!"
Katsuki's voice brought him back to earth, the fall was really, really harsh. Because now he realized he had entered a shower cubicle with the love of his life (okay, maybe he was exaggerating, but he was seriously smitten, so shut up.) totally naked and absolutely edible.
"Uh… I…" Ah, oops… his brain had flown away, it had liquefied and slid down the shower drain… haha…
"What the hell are you doing, Deku?!" And it absolutely didn't help that the blond was facing him without even trying to hide.
Well, he had no reason to hide after all.
Why was he here already?
Ah, yes…
Talk. They had to talk!
"You're avoiding me!" Izuku yelled at him.
The blond's eye twitched. "The- What?! Of course not, you idiot!"
"Of course you are! You're avoiding being alone with me!" Izuku was angry. But that wasn't so bad, anger helped him stay concentrated. Somehow… "I've tried to talk to you all day! And every time you had to do something, or you pushed me away! Everyone noticed!"
Katsuki was looking at him, his expression was unreadable, Izuku tried to keep his own confident and annoyed, even though he probably looked more like an angry rabbit than a hurt man.
"So you thought coming into my goddamn shower while I'm naked was a good time to talk?"
Izuku blushed and looked away. "I-I didn't really plan for you to be… you know…"
"Naked," he repeated.
"Y-yeah…"
"That's what usually happens when someone wants to take a shower, you know."
"I-I know!"
The blond finally sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I'm not avoiding you…" A few seconds of silence settled, Izuku looked up to try and see the blond's face, but he was turned to the side. His eyebrows were furrowed as if he was trying to figure out what to say. "…Well, maybe a little. But it's because I need to think about some things, okay? It's… complicated…" His arms dropped to his sides. "I hadn't planned for that to happen…"
That…
Their kiss, he meant.
Izuku observed the man facing him. Even though he was taller and much better built than him, at that moment the blond looked small, vulnerable.
Izuku couldn't understand why the blond looked so dejected, but he didn't want to see that expression on the face of the man he loves.
And even less to be the cause of it.
"You need time to think…" he repeated, softly.
"…Yeah…"
Good. He could wait, if the blond needed a little time, he was going to give it to him.
"Now it's my turn."
Izuku blinked. "Your turn…?"
Their eyes met, Izuku's confused, and Katsuki's determined. A blatant change in his posture indicated that Izuku was in for a rough time.
"Yeah." He crossed his arms over his smooth chest. "I told you I wanted to think, but that doesn't mean I don't want to figure out what's going on in your little idiot head."
"... Nothing?"
Katsuki let out a laugh and moved closer to him. "Yeah, right. That's why you came into my shower demanding an explanation." He said, rolling his eyes. "And besides, if you had any sense and self-respect, you wouldn't have let me kiss you."
Izuku stared at the other man in front of him. What was he saying? "Wait… You think I didn't want that?"
"No. But I think I teased you about it so much that you wanted to, I don't know, prove yourself, in a way."
He saw red. "Excuse me?!"
Katsuki raised an eyebrow.
"You think that just because some jerk throws stupid challenges at me, asks me if I want to kiss him or whatever, I'll do it to prove, what, that I'm capable of that kind of thing? That I'm not the pure and innocent little Deku everyone thinks I am?!" He tried to catch his breath and clenched his fists at his sides.
The boy facing him seemed to be studying him. He didn't seem shocked, but rather confused. "You wanted to kiss me?" he asked.
"Hell yeah!" Izuku replied quickly, too quickly to be embarrassed by his desperate tone.
Katsuki frowned. "Why? Why me?"
Izuku raised an eyebrow as if to say "seriously, man?"
Katsuki moved closer still, so close that Izuku was forced to tilt his head back to look into his carmine red eyes. "Tell me, Izuku. Why me?"
Izuku stared at him without answering. One, two, three seconds. Too long for his poor heart which was beating madly, but his lips remained closed. He could feel Katsuki's impatience, the tension in his gaze. He didn't want to lie, but telling the truth would break everything…
So he shrugged, as if it didn't matter. "You ask too many questions, Katsuki."
Katsuki narrowed his eyes, suspicious. "We kissed, Deku. It was your first kiss. Do you think I'm going to let you get away with saying it was just some inconsequential bullshit? And you're the one who came here with the intention of talking."
"I know… and… and maybe it is…" Izuku muttered. "Maybe it was just the atmosphere. We had a good day together and we just got caught up in the euphoria, I guess."
"Bullshit." Katsuki replied, sharp. "You're not the type to do things randomly."
Izuku looked away, fixing his gaze somewhere behind Katsuki's shoulder. "You think you know me?"
"I know you well enough to know you're afraid to say what you really think." He paused, then: "And that you're afraid of me."
Izuku clenched his jaw. Katsuki telling him he was the one afraid to speak his mind? That was truly the biggest joke in the universe. "I'm not afraid of you."
"Then tell me: why?"
He hesitated, for a long time. Then, with a half-smirk, almost mocking, and a burst of confidence, he breathed out: "Maybe I wanted to try new things. And maybe you were the most suitable person to give it to me."
Katsuki stared at him, his gaze oscillating between annoyance and perplexity. "Are you messing with me?"
"You said it yourself: I'm an idiot."
Silence.
Katsuki took a step closer, grabbed Izuku's face with his large hand, and squeezed his cheeks to make a fish face. He was visibly angry. "You have a talent for dodging, Deku."
Izuku grabbed his wrist and forcefully pulled his hand away from his face. His gaze pierced the red eyes in front of him "I'm learning from the best."
Katsuki growled, then clicked his tongue. "You drive me crazy."
"The feeling's mutua…" Izuku whispered.
They looked at each other in silence for a moment. Red against green. It was like a tug-of-war game to see who would let go first.
And honestly, neither of them could really know who let go first.
They collided like two comets crashing. Their mouths devoured each other, their tongues desperately seeking one another. Their bodies intertwined, their hands everywhere on the other's body…
Izuku's heart was racing, his face was burning, his legs were… did he even still have legs? No idea, he couldn't feel his limbs anymore, just the palm of his hand against the blond's warm, tanned skin.
They were both on fire. Izuku's body hummed with a dull happiness and incredible euphoria.
Katsuki's hands were tightly clasped around his waist while his own hands slid into the blond man's soft hair… the man he would destroy the world for right now.
"Deku…" the blond's voice against his lips was just a hoarse whisper echoing against the thin walls of the shower cubicle "What are we doing…"
It wasn't really a question, but he answered anyway, "…I don't know…"
They were just arguing, right? They still couldn't understand each other. Katsuki was an enigma, but Izuku was no less so. None of this was planned. Izuku was here with a single goal in mind: find his memories. Falling in love was not part of the plan. And yet here he was, metaphorically on his knees for the man in front of him. Although he would actually do it too if asked.
Katsuki remained silent for a moment, his piercing gaze plunged into the green one. Then, without warning, he firmly gripped Izuku's waist and pulled him close, his lips crushing fervently against his in a burning, desperate kiss that rendered Izuku's legs almost permanently useless. He totally melted into the kiss, and mechanically wrapped his arms around the blond's neck so he wouldn't fall and to pull him closer, closer…
It wasn't enough…
"You… you said you wanted to think…" he mumbled into the other's mouth.
"Fuck, Deku…" He was panting, his ears and cheeks a soft pink, more beautiful than ever… Izuku was so in love… or crazy. "I don't need to think for this…" The blond dove down to kiss Izuku avidly along his neck, much to the latter's pleasure. He moved him and slammed the smaller man against the wall, making him press the button on his back and turning on the shower above them.
Ha… that's right… for Katsuki, sex was just a way to relieve pressure…
Well, whatever.
The water streamed over both of them, Izuku's clothes clinging to his skin, his hair starting to stick to his face. Katsuki used his hand to push his hair back from his forehead, looked at him for a moment, and Izuku had the feeling that the other was looking at him with… admiration? Tenderness? Something in between… Something impossible… For a second, he thought he was going to say something, but instead, he simply plunged back onto his lips.
"Katsuki…" Izuku moaned into his mouth as the blond's tongue caressed Izuku's piercing. Letting his trembling fingers slide into the blond's now wet hair, unintentionally pulling it slightly, just looking for a way to anchor himself, but he managed to elicit a low, deep groan from the blond, and if that didn't go straight to his dick…
Katsuki was touching him everywhere, he caressed Izuku's cheeks, then his neck, his shoulders, his back… Until he slid his hands onto his hips, his thumbs slipping into the hollow of his hip bones and making him shiver…
My god, this was heaven…
Well, that's what he thought. Until the blond rocked his hips forward and knocked his naked, very, very hard dick against Izuku's still-clothed and equally hard one. At that moment, it was an intergalactic journey. Izuku was visiting every planet in the solar system and ended up plunging into a black hole of pure pleasure and a happiness he felt he could never achieve.
He couldn't stop the moans that escaped his throat, but Katsuki swallowed them one by one, while moving against him to give him more friction.
Izuku was going to cry, or maybe he already was. Hard to tell with the water splashing his face. In any case, his cock certainly was. And very quickly, judging by the palpitations he felt at that moment.
Was it okay to cum so fast? Damn… why was he forced to think in moments like this…
"Izuku…" Katsuki had left his mouth to bite his earlobe and make Izuku yelp.
"H-hey!" Izuku groaned at the sudden pain. And perhaps because of the wasted orgasm.
The blond straightened up just enough to look at the other, and damn… he looked as wrecked as Izuku… his pupils were wide, clouded with desire, his breathing was fast, the water trickling down his face made the whole thing really, really hot… "You think too much…"
"…Sorry…?" he retorted sheepishly.
Katsuki sighed, pushed his own hair back, and rested his forehead against Izuku's. His voice was soft and reassuring when he spoke again. "Listen… we can stop if you don't want to continue, I won't get angry or anythi-"
"No!" great, his cock had taken control of his mouth now. But he agreed with it, so it was fine. Go for it, little guy! "No, please, I… I want this… really…" He clung to Katsuki's biceps, as if, if he let go, he would fall to the ground. "It's just sex… right?"
"…Yeah… just sex…" the blond sighed, frowning.
"Then, it's okay… please?" Izuku begged.
The red eyes narrowed to detect a hint of a lie or doubt. But Izuku had none. So, with a deep sigh, he simply said: "Fuck…" and plunged back onto Izuku, wilder and hungrier than ever…
He sucked and bit Izuku's neck, the moment the latter's T-shirt started to make him growl with rage, he ripped it off and threw it somewhere in the cubicle, before plunging head first to continue kissing every freckled patch of skin he could reach, which wasn't much given the difficult angle they were in and their height difference. But Izuku willingly arched his back to feel that mouth on his chest.
Katsuki had one hand planted in his back, his hips pressed against Izuku's, and his back curved to lick Izuku's skin.
Izuku almost slid to the floor when he felt the blond's tongue on one of his nipples… and cried out feeling his teeth nibble it.
He felt himself blush, feeling Katsuki's smile on his sensitive skin, but he didn't have time to be offended. The blond took his nipple into his mouth and sucked. His right hand still firmly holding Izuku's arched back, his hand slid down his belly, lower and lower… until he felt a warm palm against his cock through his shorts.
He clung to his sensations, every single one of them. Because a god was devouring him alive, and he willingly gave himself as an offering to him.
The blond was caressing him gently. It was too slow for Izuku to climax, but just enough to make him want more, more, more…
The moment Katsuki was satisfied with himself, or at least when he no longer had the patience to wait any longer, he moved back up to Izuku's lips. He was sure his lips would be bruised after this.
The hand on his cock slowly slid towards his butt, as if giving Izuku time to back away, and, without trying to remove his shorts, he pulled him against his dick and rubbed gently against him. And if Izuku wasn't pathetically moaning, trying to keep his feet on the ground, he might have seen the man facing him looking at him as if he were a divine being.
Izuku began to tremble, his cock was crushed against a thickness and length worthy of the biggest porn stars (he didn't have any other reference, leave him alone.) But oh, how good it was… having a warm body pressed against his, trying to please him while pleasing himself… And as if that weren't enough, Katsuki kept whispering dirty talk between kisses…
"Fuck, 'Zuku… You gonna come for me? You gonna soak your shorts like you probably did when you saw me in my underwear that first night, huh?"
"Ka… nnh…"
"Yeah? You've been looking at me and fucking me with your eyes since that day, huh? Mmh… I'm sure you jacked off in your tent after that… and… Fuck… I'm sure you already imagined me bent over the table, right? … Yeah… the same table where all our friends eat every day…" He squeezed Izuku's butt harder, digging his fingers into each cheek and rubbing his cock harder. "Fuck, Deku… I'd destroy you if you let me… I'd make you scream so loud that all the animals in this damn forest would run away… I'd make you feel so good that you'd beg me again and again until you weren't coherent anymore… You want it, don't you?"
He wanted to shout yes, that he dreamed of Katsuki taking him on any surface, fucking him until he forgot his own name, making him cum again and again until his balls hurt, but for once his mouth had nothing else to say but "P-please…". As for the incoherent part, he was certainly very close.
A mocking smile against his lips "Please what, De-ku?"
"I… I want… haaa…" He clung to Katsuki's shoulders, digging his nails in, clinging to the little bit of grey matter he had left. "To come… I want to come!!! Please…" It was desperate. He needed it like he needed to breathe.
"Damn..." Katsuki kissed him again, then rested his forehead against Izuku's shoulder to look between them. He slightly lowered Izuku's shorts, enough to pull out his cock and balls, and took it in his large hand along with his own and started stroking them together, all while keeping one hand on Izuku's back, which now served as a permanent anchor for the latter.
He caressed their tips one after the other, using their pre-cum and the shower water still running over them to facilitate his movements.
Feeling Katsuki's burning cock against his own was an extraordinary experience. Their glans brushed against each other with every thrust of the blond's hips; he could feel the other's veins against his skin. If he had had more logic, maybe he would try to detail every sensation he was feeling…
Their moans filled the showers; if someone walked by, there would be no doubt about what they were doing… but they were too lost in the moment to care…
Izuku was breathing heavily. He tilted his head back and rested it against the shower wall, looking up at the showerhead above them that was still streaming over Katsuki's back. He looked at the old ceiling of the building, its many cobweb-covered beams, its yellowish neon lights that gave you a sickly complexion, the few insects fluttering around those same neon lights…
Izuku was there, at a campsite, in this dilapidated old shower cubicle, getting fucked for the first time. Well, not really "fucked," but it was still sex.
It might not have been the ideal setting for a first time, but who would worry about that?
Certainly not Izuku.
He wanted to remember every moment. Every second. He wanted to remember his sensations, the smells, the dampness on his skin, the wind slipping under the door, the blond's wet hair sticking against his cheek, his heavy breathing against his collarbone, his large hand and rough fingers on his cock… He needed to hold onto them in his memory.
Because if this was all he had, if he could only have this for this summer, then he would make sure to keep it engraved in his memory for the rest of his life.
If this was his only way to have Katsuki, then so be it.
"Deku…" he lowered his large green eyes to the red ones that were overturning his life. But he only saw blurriness.
He felt a warm hand against his cheek, and a finger wiping the underside of his eye.
Oh…
When had he started crying?
The blond's movements had slowed, until they stopped. He still held them pressed against each other, his thumb gently caressing the side of Izuku's cock. "Did I go too far?"
"No…" Izuku sniffled. "Keep going… please… I'm so close…"
Katsuki hesitated.
"I'm fine…"
"You're crying, idiot. I don't call that fine."
Izuku let out a laugh. "It's okay, it's just… a lot…" He looked down at their joined cocks. My God, Katsuki's cock was dripping onto Izuku's, which wasn't doing much better. He ran his index finger across the blond's slit, making him shiver. Hah… it was so good to have that kind of power over this man. He looked up again. "I want to come with you, Katsuki… please?"
Katsuki looked at him again for a moment, then gave a gentle pump on their two cocks, making Izuku open his mouth in a silent gasp. He began to smirk. "Then I'll give you what you're asking for…"
He kissed Izuku again… it was less savage and desperate but strangely much more passionate.
He pressed their cocks harder, again and again. Izuku wasn't going to last long; he felt his body tightening like a rubber band about to snap. He pulled his head back to catch his breath. Bad idea. He could now see Katsuki's gaze on him. His red eyes piercing his own. He was just as breathless as Izuku, and looked absolutely famished.
It was too much. “Ka-... Katsuki… I’m gonna-...”
"Then come, Deku…" Katsuki buried his face in his green hair and whispered near his ear. "Come for me."
He clung to Katsuki's shoulders while the latter stroked them harder. He instinctively closed his eyes. "Nnh… I… I… fuck… Ka… Kacc-"
The blond kissed him and he climaxed so hard that he could see flashes of light behind his closed eyelids. His body trembled; he knew that if Katsuki hadn't held him, he would have slid to the floor like an old wet rag. It was the most intense orgasm of his entire life…
Emotionally, physically, everything was overwhelming…
He vaguely heard a guttural groan escape the lips of the boy facing him, as their semen spilled into his large hand and onto their bellies.
Katsuki kept his face buried in the crook of Izuku's neck while the two slowly regained their composure and came back down to earth. Water streamed over their tangled and trembling forms, washing away the evidence of their pleasure.
Izuku's brain slowly tried to reset.
He lowered and shook his head with the idea of tidying up his mind when the blond straightened up and moved away, leaving his body colder than it had ever been.
And then his brain finally woke up and he immediately understood what he had done.
He had jacked off with Katsuki Bakugou… He had come in Katsuki Bakugou's hand… and Izuku thought he would die of happiness and pleasure and… and… and damn it, he had only come to talk and Katsuki was lost and maybe he just didn't want to hurt Izuku by rejecting him and this jerk just walked up, and what? Almost forced him into inappropriate sexual relations in public showers… OH MY GOD THEY WERE IN PUBLIC SHOWERS, THERE WERE PROBABLY FAMILIES WHO-
A snap of fingers in front of his eyes "Oi! Earth to Deku!"
"… Huh?" He looked up at the other.
"You look stupid." the blond smiled. "Stop thinking, it's dangerous."
Izuku frowned, what kind of post-orgasm phrase is that? He never read that in the boys' love novels he reads… Yeah, maybe he had romanticized the whole thing a bit, excuse his virginal virginity.
"What-"
"Listen… I can see your nerd brain trying to make sense of… all this… whatever…" he sighed, running his hand through his blond hair. "It was just for fun, alright? Summer vacation is for… experimenting, isn't it?"
Izuku was stunned. "… Experimenting…"
"Yeah." He wrapped a towel around his waist. "Like when you tried alcohol for the first time on your birthday. You know. An experience."
Yes… that was it, an experience… Izuku had said it himself to Katsuki, hadn't he? "Just sex" he had said…
So why did it hurt so much?
He felt his migraine coming back. No, this wasn't the time…
"Okay. An experience, yes. That's all it was." He said with uncontrolled coldness.
Katsuki was looking at him. But it was nothing like the gaze from five minutes ago… the "loving" look he had given him… now his gaze was empty, distant…
Izuku felt his eyes burn. He knew what would happen if he stayed a minute longer.
So he walked past Katsuki and opened the door. "See you later with the others, huh?"
"Sure."
"Oh… and… I'd like us to talk, about my memories and stuff, you know? I have things to ask you, if that's okay."
Katsuki looked confused, but he nodded.
Izuku gave him a nod and left. His wet feet slapped in his sandals as he walked to the tent shirtless, his wet T-shirt in his hand and his soaked shorts clinging to his thighs.
Arriving, he realized the van was there, there was movement in the tent before Ochaco came out. She saw Izuku and ran towards him "Izuuuu!!! I'm sorry I got back so late, your mom kept me longer than expected and there was a huge crowd on the road and-" she froze looking at Izuku's face. "Hey… are you okay?"
He looked at her for a moment before hugging her, even though he was soaking wet, she didn't pull away, wrapping her arms around his back. "I missed you…" he said, finally letting the tears flow onto his best friend's shoulder.
She had the good sense not to say anything, just holding Izuku tightly and gently rubbing his back until he calmed down. After his tears stopped, she backed away, holding his hand. "Let's talk in the tent."
Izuku nodded, wiping his eyes with his free hand. "Okay."
