(UPDATE: Our plushie+stickers campaign is now 84% funded!! Don't miss out, adopt your Small TODAY!)

Several weeks back, a spacetime anomaly disgorged a wholly intact superstructure onto the bare land next to the Ranch. Upon it stood a sign bearing a fragment of its name: "-KEA", the rest damaged beyond recognition.

Curious, several expeditionary Small Tora scout parties were sent into the building, but none would return. The beleaguered smalls were stranded within the labyrinthine complex of shelves and showrooms, unable to leave. All hope seemed lost until they located the Gardening section, the smalls using the paraphernalia to establish a thriving farm-colony.

Adopting the customs of the building's previous inhabitants, (mistakenly identified as the lost Sweed tribe) the little pilgrims renamed their haven - Hikea, and themselves, the Hikeans. In short order, they located the exit and built strong trade relations with the Ranch: providing dubiously-sourced meatballs and flatpack furniture in exchange for timber and customer footfall.

(feel free to ask questions about Hikean lore, below!)

Another cultured Tora joins the global friend group.

Notsicks

How fast did it take for these guys to go local?

SuuSuuka

Do they also have to deal with the spooky staff or have they befriended them aswell

Trench Rat

Do they happen to have stuffed shark friends?

Tempura Person

they even have a group chat, you should see how frenly it gets every morning

Tempura Person

it only took them about 3 days, owing to the delicious meatballs and ergonomic furniture

Tempura Person

oh no, the insides are not actually infinite because its just a regular Hikea, they got lost because they are small but building is big, that being said if the spooky staff were there they would be polite and friendly to them always

SuuSuuka

That is 10x more hilarious

Tempura Person

each of the Hikeans have their own plush preferences, second most popular behind their handmade tomato plushes is the shark plush they all go to sleep in the Bed section after closing hours snuggling with their chosen plushies

Sledgehammer

The smalls colonies expand. How do they handle heavy top shelf items

Tempura Person

They get the forklift-certified smalls to handle it. Occasionally big fluffa drops by to help float things to the top shelf

Legionary153

Have they found the scriptures describing the "fika" ritual, and how does it affect them?

Tempura Person

They happened upon it by chance when a Hikean Small Tora had a Daim cake with some coffee at 2pm, it disappeared in a flash of light and rematerialised a week later now speaking with a deep, booming voice

Everywher3

Have they tried the Hikea meatballs? Are they any good?

Tempura Person

Oh yes, they eat them every day. The visitors aren't sure what they're made from. The Hikean Smalls simply walk into the restricted Employees only area and emerge with a fresh bagful.

Aaron Moore

Such a friendly bunch of Sweed Toras.

Thera

The ranch is a weird place to be huh. But I mean, free meatballs!

Vinuscar

How comfy are the indoor bedrooms and do the toilets hook up to the local system?

Sledgehammer

What is their opinion on the Danes Tribe/Denmark?

Bigsmile

Dem poor lil guys, how long were they wondering lost? Weeks, months, years?!?

Jaimas

In Before Gablerstaplerfurher Tomatora

Kekada

Can we obtain a good meal there?

Tempura Person

The meatballs really are the clincher, they cant live without em

Tempura Person

The beds are really nice and fit several smalls at a time for pillowforts, and the toilet plumbing sort of leads into the ether, nobody knows where the waste goes

Tempura Person

Equally frenly, different but they make a good danish

Tempura Person

The cafeteria is always fully stocked, and free, and yummy There are always smalls enjoying a fika break there

Bigsmile

2 WHOLE HOURS?!? Dem poor fellas 😢

Tempura Person

Dont worry, they calmed themselves down by watching that one display with the robotic arm opening and closing the drawer repeatedly

Bees of War

The previous inhabitants weren't the Sweed, but OMGeneology shows that, because they were small, they were a bit Sweed-ish

Tempura Person

There's evidence that they had a bustling fishing industry catching marine life in the melted ice cream lake under the ice cream machines, so you could say that the Sweed-ish fish.
