Hello to you with my first blog post!
Stuff is going pretty well here. I just completed a round of blood tests for my Lithium and testosterone levels. Both were previously too high, as well as the high testosterone spiking both my estrogen (extra T is converted to E in your body) and my red blood cell count up (which, if too high, can lead to an increased chance of stroke, eek). But I had both dosages lowered so this was to see how things were going with that. The Lithium is at a good level now but my kidney function is still down so we're going to drop it even lower. I'm hoping that won't lead to mood swings for me, Lithium is what controls my manias, but even if it does I feel like I'm much better equipped to handle them now than I have been in the past. As far as T goes, my levels were in the desired range, and my estrogen and red blood cells were down to good levels as well, so we're going to continue with my current dosage (which is 125mg of T every two weeks if you want to know).
My hand tremor is really starting to feel unmanageable as I've been trying to do traditional media work lately, so I'm going to talk to my doctor about it, but it's entirely possible that there's nothing they can do - if it's 'essential tremor' than there is no treatment other than brain surgery, which I'm.. not down for, and which is only recommended in the most extreme cases anyway. Ho-hum.
Art-wise, I only have two commissions on my plate right now (as well as stream commissions on Saturdays and MFF art show pieces that I'm slowly picking at it with no real urgency - MFF isn't until December after all). When those are done I am thinking of doing either some YCHS or a growth drive rather than diving right back into regular commissions. I'm hoping to have both commissions done by next Friday, but some of that depends on how fast commissioners respond (hi HP1741A!). So keep an eye out for fun stuff on the horizon!
That's it for now! How's your life going this week? Talk to me!
