There isn't a super complex plot here but it's very unique. It's more about David's story in a futuristic world of advanced technology, crime, and body modifications after his mother passed away. It’s about survival, rebellion, and the cost of living in a dystopian society. It's true that the start is very slow but I personally begun to watch the show because it was rated highly on IMDb (8.3/10) and I sticked till the end to understand why it was rated so high. Me and people I know loved how the story escalated in later episodes (ep6 onwards). The first episodes didn't really 'wow' me either but I still found the reality and concept very interesting and definitely did not consider it trash from the creative point of view. It might not be your show but it undeniably and objectively gets way better starting from next episode.
