Franina

I love when you upload blue lock and kaiju no 8 on the same day! 🤗

Ryan

The animation was criticized for its CGI and movement scenes, but it improves throughout the season, especially after the second half of Blue Lock vs U-20

David

Yeah, animation is not necessarily bad, just sub par but the art style is a lot better than the first season

David

Looking back, I didnt even watch the Nagi movie so I had 0 clue how the team was made so I guess that was a W for me

Franina

I’ve only started watching anime last year so when people were saying how bad the animation looks I was like “ oh it doesn’t look that bad to me” but there were times I noticed the bad animation and was like oh. To me it didn’t make the anime any less enjoyable but you guys will see some of the things we’re talking about later on in the season. This is only the first episode so of course it won’t look that bad to you guys.

episode 1's are usually a priority episode, but basically they do a lot of post production work like smoke effects to save this season. There just isn't a lot of movement. So I would say on average season 1 has mid animation with some good cuts and season 2 has poor animation with some great cuts.
