Yeah, minato just imagined himself in the story when he was reading jiraya's book.

Jiraya is the "godfather" because he named naruto through his book indirectly. Naruto was named after the MC in jiraya's first book which never sold a lot. Naruto generally hates Jiraya's books and thats why he never knew about it. The one Naruto gave to kakashi in episode 1 was an entirely different book.

Jiraya did not reveal the truth back then to naruto. You guys remember when jiraya said "No hard feelings fourth hokage" before throwing naruto in the waterfall, when naruto summoned his first frog? So he knew, but just bullied naruto for fun the first time they met😂. But he started taking care of naruto starting from episode 80 where he takes naruto to search for tsunade. Since then he was naruto's guardian and mentor.

He said it because the Fourth Hokage sealed the Nine-Tails; he didn't know who Naruto was. Jiraiya was outside the village when the Nine-Tails attacked it. The answer came in episode 133.

I've already told you guys you missed a lot of details in Naruto OG, that's why you're confused lool .Jiraiya first met Naruto when Naruto was 12 years old, and the Fourth Hokage's battle with the Nine-Tails was in the first episode.

Great Video as always!! FYI you guys probably know already but in case you didnt, the red eye of Minato is nothing but a coloring error in the animation so dont think too deep about that

He definitely knew who Naruto was. I don't think there's any other Naruto from the Uzumaki clan besides Kushina's son.
