You should know something: back in our day, when we were watching Naruto, the reason the episodes stopped and turned into filler episodes was because the anime was too close to the manga; they had to give it enough space.

People really underestimate Tsunade. She tried to stop Jiraiya, but he’s a Legendary Sannin she couldn’t control his choices, and he genuinely believed he was the only one who could face Pain, which she respected. She even told him to contact her if things went wrong, and that’s all she could do. Criticizing her for letting him go is unfair—she had to stay strong as Hokage, even while grieving. On top of that, Tsunade is deeply traumatized by love, having lost those she cared about most, while Jiraiya was always traveling and chasing the prophecy. Their timing was never right, and I love that their unspoken feelings made their bond feel real and tragically beautiful. I honestly wouldn’t want it any other way. 💔

Sometimes there is filler in between canon also because the anime caught up to the manga, so sometimes it not like they want to put a filler just because. Its for the manga to keep going forward will they release fillers to keep the watchers busy
