This is officially where I turned into a Sasuke hater. I genuinely think the writer wanted the audience to feel this level of frustration. Sasuke becoming hard to like isn’t bad writing it’s intentional. We’re meant to feel disappointed, annoyed, even angry, because this shows how much he’s changed. Every sacrifice Itachi made his family, his honor, his life was meant to protect him from this darkness, yet Sasuke throws it all away, choosing the exact opposite of everything his brother lived and died for.

Do you remember Itachi's best friend? Itachi was suspected of killing him in order to obtain his Mangekyo? That was Shisui Uchiha. You will definitely learn more about the Fourth Mizukage. You've already received a small hint; remember the conversation between Kisame and Madara. You will definitely learn more.

This will continue until the end between Naruto and Sasuke. Don't expect anything more; there's no deep storyline, it's a simple one. I told you, the episodes will have ups and downs until the end.

Agreed! Though I still liked Sasuke, I just felt saddened by his choice to not follow Itachi's wish. However, letting the people responsible go unpunished or not held accountable makes me understand Sasuke's rage to an extent. Him being what 16-17 at the time factors in that as well. He just sees RED!

it's totally fair to hate on Sasuke at this point, think that's even the author's goal, putting us in the shoes of the ninja world who just wants to be done with him while Naruto is the only one who wants to save him. We are the hatred naruto is fighting lol, Sasuke pissed me off back then lmao, but now I get why this plot matters. You're spot on about his team being trash though... some good team moments would've helped but the author really fumbled making them interesting
