Madara obtained Hashirama's cells himself, but Kabuto Yakushi added them to his Reanimated body to boost his power. Kabuto claimed he brought Madara back "better" by adding Hashirama's cells to resurrect him in his prime. Madara corrected him, stating, "Don't misunderstand, this power wasn't made by you," as he already possessed and understood this power when he was alive.

One thing about Naruto the pacing will have you suffering one minute it’s peak, next minute it’s flashbacks every 5 seconds 💀 but it always goes back to peak again. Also, most things you’re confused about get explained as it goes on.
