The story is really good. It’s mainly the animation + amount of filler, because of the retarded studio. But when it’s manga does really well especially currently and when it all gets animated (hopefully a better animation style) most people won’t hate on it.

Yea, studio Pierrot didn't deliver with most of the animation for this series, so you're not alone, thats why a lot of people didnt really enjoy the direction for boruto but that doesn't mean it has a bad story its mostly the studios fault. Other than that, it has some really incredible moments. Btw I love the reactions😄

Just curious but will you guys be watching the filler? 75% of the show is filler. The 25% that’s canon is in my opinion Kishi’s best writing. As much problems as I have with this show I still have it over JJK/DSlayer and the new gen animes.

Unfortunately, the animation is going to get even worse; I remember seeing tons of funny clips on TikTok of people making fun of it. Another downside is that the anime has no filler—almost all the episodes are considered "anime-canon," even when they contain nothing from the manga. The story itself is great; in fact, the manga is on a whole different level compared to the anime.

I didn't like boruto mainly because of how much filler there was. We didn't have the option of skipping filler watching on release and a lot of the filler was like watching ninja daycare. The real arcs are interesting enough but man, they were trying to milk this for every penny without giving any effort at any level

I’m probably a little biased because I went into Boruto expecting it to feel more like Naruto and that’s why I didn’t enjoy it. The world feels so different the story never really clicked with me and I never had the same emotional connection I had with Naruto. 👀

They had a ova based on Naruto becoming hokage. And the animation is slightly different it’s just hard to tell sometimes but a side by side comparison you can see the difference. I for one actually love Boruto

I think you may know by now but I think you misunderstood the Inojin part. I don’t think Boruto tried to imply that Sai and Naruto are not friends anymore. Just that it doesn’t matter what their parents do or don’t, it’s their own life.

At around 1:06:26 you said that Gaara and Rock Lee were also 10 and i have to disagree with you. Boruto and his class is about 8 years old and they aren't even gening, they just started the academy, they don't even have headbands. Gaara, Rock Lee and the crew were 13+ in the chunin examns also Naruto when he was the same age as Boruto couldn't even do one clone. You can't compare genin like Gaara or genin like Rock Lee, Neji, Tenten (if you remember team Guy took an year off and dind't participate in the chunin exam because they weren't ready and that's why they took the exam with Naruto and the rest even if they were 1 year older) that already have several missions in times of conflict with kids that just start academy and have 0 missions in times of extreme peace.
