Just skip the fillers, but make sure you watch anime canon cuz are important to get the story. You will get therr... cant wait for the Sarada arc my fave

Remember Boruto is a kid ( he is like 7-8 years old here),that had his father since birth ( you saw the end of the movie) , until Naruto became hokage and everthing changed suddently... ( naruto became hokage boruto was probably 5-6 years old) he was too busy. Shikamaru in other hand have being working in the office even before Naruto became hokage, so shikadai is used to it. So thats why he is like that, ( and lets be Honest, Boruto act really similar to naturo at that age) Boruto still love Naruto very very much. He will understand his father more and more , thats why I said you will get there. Also there A LOT to come. Boruto is a lot more intelligent than naruto, he is like a combination of Naruto+Minato+Sasuke ( you will understand that later). Just pay a lot of attention. Sarada arc is the second one and is very important as well.

We’ll do at least 4 eps a week! This coming 1-2 weeks Masha will be out of town so it might be a little less Boruto but it’ll pick back up when she comes back! Stay tuned! 👀

Also Temari is still a working shinobi, so shikadai is used to be alone sometimes when she have missions, but Hinata is a house wife, and Boruto feel like Naruto dont pay attentian to her to much since he became Hokage ( but thats far from the true, naruto usually does came late home and talks a lot with Hinata)
