AntiShattrat

Yeah it gets worse. Keep going guys!

Abinamikaze

How can kurama do anything here? The beast absorbs their user's chakra. If naruto used a rasenshuriken, and if it absorbs it, it will grow even bigger. Naruto can overload it, or make it blow up. The problem is controlling it, since they are inside the village and if it blows right in the middle of thr village its going to be catastrophic. It makes sense that naruto didn't do anything. If they were outside with no one around, thrn the fight would legit end in a single move

Abinamikaze

Woah.. the hate 😂 Haters never change ig

You need to separate Boruto from Naruto. This is a different story, a different generation. Yes, Naruto and Sasuke have a role in the story, but this isn't their story.

Deniz and Masha

Totally agree it’s supposed to be a Boruto story. But that doesn’t mean Naruto needs to be the shit on the floor 🤷🏻‍♂️

TͶT™️

You don't know what will happen next, and that's what makes me hate them even more. I won't say more than that loool

AntiShattrat

Literally how he dealt with Pain. Natural Enegry. Fist fight. Easy-Peasy

AntiShattrat

The joke is if we separate Naruto from the story it will be even more boring one. P.S. Thanks for your support and a gift sub!

ai

These episodes aren’t manga canon btw, they’re anime canon. Manga canon eps start from ep 19

ai

And there much worse filler arcs than this one… I’m just glad you’re gonna be watching mostly canon stuff bc the canon plot gets so good, especially towards the end.

TͶT™️

When I meant to separate them, I meant to compare them. When I watched Boruto, I didn't expect much from Naruto and Sasuke because it's not their story.

Donghua Verdict

Great reaction. Only thing i have to say is boruto is made to be unlikeable in the beginning unlike naruto who we loved in the beginning. Also, everyone thing you see is leading up to what happens in episode 1. boruto starts 7 years in the past.

Donghua Verdict

And building on that — Shippuden kicked off with the iconic flash‑forward of Naruto and Sasuke meeting again. Boruto follows the same storytelling move, just seven years deeper into its timeline. That’s the point I was making. Still, the raw reaction is what makes it great.

Abinamikaze

Pain doesn't blow up if his chakra goes high. He is not used for kamikaze attack. Nue is meant for blowing up. Unlike naruto where they fought in an empty land with barely anyone, in this case there are people around. Throwing hands is not enough to destroy it.

Mo

Kishimoto’s pen is so legendary that everybody is willing to sit through these bullshit corporate greed filler arcs just to get to his goated canon writing. Anyone who willfully enjoys these fillers needs to be checked into a mental institute. Once you get to ep 30 ish it gets lit.

Mavoal

Let me just say, coz everybody has their opinions on boruto, calling it boring coz they left after getting bored, Can i just say, Boruto is meant to be boring from the start, in order to showcase the peaceful life that naruto and the shinobis fought for in Shippuden, otherwise it would make no sense why the F##k did we watch naruto shippudden if nothing changed, it would contradict why naruto won the great war in shippuden, In Boruto at the start, the problems they face are easily fixable coz they are just small problem since naruto took care of the big problems in shippuden so we must wait for a big conflict to arise naturally. i know everybody thinks peace is boring, but the story has to naturally grow in conflict so that it can show how war and peace is cyclical, (as in history always repeats itself) just like attack on titan... you just have to be patient to reach hype again,.... Afterall boruto's story is a reverse story of naruto, ,,, as an audience, we loved naruto, coz it was a story of a boy started with nothing and has now gained everything ( family, friends, Hokage, Love etc) ,,,, Boruto's story is a reverse, a boy who starts with everything and eventually ends up with nothing, as hinted in ep 1, we see him wearing a leaf village headband that is crossed out just like the akatsuki, with a village detroyed, and question marks about his father's whereabouts.. we just have to be patient to reach peak. for now everybody hates a story of a boy who has everything, its only natural, but lets not forget, he has everything, coz thats what naruto fought for, and as an audience we felt sad for naruto and hoped his journey would lead him to have love family friends peace and hokage dreams. so it would be hypocritical to hate on boruto for starting his life at the top coz it would not make sense if he started from nothing and hardship coz what the hell did naruto fight for in shippudden, i hope this puts a better perspective when you watch boruto in this early stages

Donghua Verdict

I love this breakdown, @Mavoal. I’m right there with you. Ever since I started watching Boruto, the core story has been peak—there are just a few questionable episodes here and there. It really falls into the same pattern Naruto had with its filler stretches. My view on Boruto is that he begins as that “spoiled kid” archetype most fans don’t vibe with, but he’s designed to evolve into something greater. Naruto is the opposite—he’s the underdog we instinctively root for as he climbs his way up. Some of the boruto fandom dont give it chance because of this. Lastly, outside of Kakashi vs. Obito, the fights in Boruto are simply better if you’re someone who watches the series for the action.

SyndromeM

Sumire arc is so 🥴
