That's true Bort’s character in this phase is incredibly frustrating. It's really annoying to see how he treats his father, especially for those of us who have followed Naruto from start to finish, Boruto is a far from what a shinobi should be. It's hard to like Boruto at this stage (I felt the same way when I first watched Boruto). And when 'He' comes to teach him, Boruto will learn a lesson the hard way, the hardest way of his life. I think that episode will be here before long.. love ur genuine reactions to Boruto..

Masha doesn’t like the space element As far as I remember Deniz mentioned in some previous videos that he wouldn't really approve if technology were included in this series... Great, both of those elements are in this series 😂 but let's see what you guys think by the end of the series😂

Episode 18 really highlights it for me. Boruto’s resentment toward the Hokage title comes from how it forces Naruto to be absent, slowly stretching their relationship thin. What hurts is that earlier in his childhood, they had a genuinely warm connection — that playful, teasing bond where a kid pokes fun at his dad’s harmless mistakes.

Also, if I’m remembering correctly, Boruto was around five years old when Naruto became Hokage. And that’s the one thing I’ll give Boruto — he was still at an age where the world didn’t make sense yet. Just like the village kids who grew up after the war and don’t understand the trauma behind it, Boruto couldn’t grasp why his father’s new role demanded so much distance.

Donghua Verdict

I really like how genuine the dynamic between Naruto and Boruto feels. A lot of kids go through something similar, and the show doesn’t shy away from that reality. It still hurts to watch because you want them to reconnect quickly, but that tension is exactly what makes the emotions hit — whether you love it or hate it. Loved the Episode 18 reactions

Until the end of first arc, I can guarantee that you would mostly hate boruto as a character (i personally liked him, but i understand why people hate him tho). So you may have to bear with it. The episodes move fast without long flashbacks tho. You'll have good action sequences, fights etc. but the vibe will be different. By the end of the first manga canon is where you'll like him. But I can certainly think of two major characters who you would never dislike throughout the show 👍 But bro at times you have the patience of a monk or sage 😂

LOL, what will Masha do if she discovers Enel is connected to the Moon

Masha needs to chill and wait, the story makes sense and is good, you can't give up without even giving it a chance.

for me the writing makes sense, how naruto and sasuke are absent from their families, probably coz they had their families taken away from them so young, they do not have experience on how to go about their own families, boruto hating his dad is on point since he feels like he is absent in his mind as a child he interprates it as '' dad cares more about his job than us" pretty normal for a kid. For us Naruto is so cool, and the villagers admire him too, but it is normal boruto does not, for example even in real life, if you dad or mom was a famous actor, as a kid you would not be star struck like your friends are, infact as a kid you would still be embarrassed by some of their traits coz to you they are just your mom and dad😂 so it is normal why boruto does not find dad cool😂😂Deniz and masha want boruto to see naruto as cool as they do😂.. Boruto needs to get there naturally to build admiration for his dad as the hokage. 😂 if your dad was president, we would see him as president, but to you you would still see him as your dad and so you would not have any formalities with your dad.

fun fact. author Kishimoto became a father while creating late‑Naruto and Boruto, and the shift in his personal life changed how he wrote parenthood. He has openly confirmed that Naruto’s struggles as Hokage and Boruto’s frustration mirror his own experiences balancing work and fatherhood. Kishimoto openly confirmed that the Naruto–Boruto parent dynamic — especially Boruto’s resentment and Naruto’s struggle to balance leadership with fatherhood — is directly based on his own real-life experiences as a busy father.

Itzayanathyme .

You only see it by the point of view of a naruto fan, You dont see it as a Kid ( Boruto is like 9-10 year old boy) , a lot of famous pple kids do act and complain the same way Bortuto does. Boruto dont know anything anout Naruto, cuz Naruto NEVER took the time to explain anything to him before ( he will understand later on).

Boruto acts like almost every child does. Is he irrational? Sometimes, but this is normal behaviour for a kid. Especially, when he had his dad at home, and later on he disappeares, to go to work. Everybody would feel resentful towards his dad like he does. He’s just a kid who acts like a kid
