Aww! No it's pretty sweet that an Anthroid would become curious about tactile information. Especially after processing so much data about seeing her peer without clothes. It's interesting to think about how she would explore sensations like soft fur and firm muscle. Or warm breath or rhythmic heartbeat. All of it would probably teach her a lot about the individual people she works with, which I could imagine being valuable to a unit that is all about processing vast amounts of data (which if I remember correctly was part of her role on the ship I think?)

Oh my GOD that's super cute. The hesitation and uncertainty with things she's never felt before, but not rejecting them. Flustered curiosity about what she doesn't even realize yet is blossoming attraction. I am very curious why she's apparently sleeping next to him, too ;D

NICE! And the best part is, it makes so much sense. Other apex frames were going pretty lewd o things, but ARA didn't reacted at all? Why? But now we see it. She does know about arousal, but don't get it. Now she does. And it's SO good. Please let her in this state and let her discover more slowly. Goated one.

You do realize that ARA is the one in a position of absolute power over Nytro, right??? It may be innocent childishness on ARA's side, but Nytro knows that if he accidentally or intentionally makes one wrong move towards ARA, the entire Anthroid Network will have his ass in the slammer for infinity lifetime sentences within 60 seconds for the Very Illegal Crime of assaulting (the youngest!) one of the Apex Anthroid Units. Remember, all of ARA's interactions with Nytro are taking place on THE ROYAL FLAGSHIP, and will be automatically disseminated across the ARA-unit-family of the Anthroid Network across the rest of the rest of the Royal Armada as personality training data! Nytro is under an UNSPEAKABLE amount of pressure!

According to the lore... Yes. Kind of. ARA is the youngest and most experimental of the Apex Units. Some deviation in how her unit line would engage with the world was expected, but the apparent failure of mirror neuron simulation has so far been officially treated as an adorable quirk expected of "the sheltered child of the family" so as to avoid any general panic over her apparent mal-development. The general response by the rest of the Apex units is going to be a mix of cautious optimism and jubilous confusion at ARA successfully adapting to the common organic-to-inorganic hurdle all Apex units have dealt with during their own developmental phases.

You've hit the nail on the head! For a neural network designed to (theoretically) observe-correlate-compile-simulate an entire world's worth of interactions, there is an astonishing beauty in an ARA unit learning to choose a single person's existence as the "world" they choose to analyze, mentally and emotionally sinking themselves into the deepest echoes of every movement, sensation, and responses of their chosen "world".

Well Ara IS made to learn as she goes. before it was a case of not really taking the time to consider stuff outside what she feels appropriate to study. Pretty much every AI character in your roster shares a very prominent trait of being aware they are effectively inorganic. Software made to imitate life and perform tasks fitting their station. So during downtime something or someone whose job it is to learn would inevitably hit a point they want to process something else, and she's finally hit a point of curiosity over lord know how many canonical hours of spending time about organics she sees as friends or coworkers. So this is coming off more like a curiosity than her actually 'understanding' what the issue is. Logic in an AI's mind in your world has varying degrees of emotional understanding. Its honestly fitting to have it unveil this way in a more private setting where there's not exactly someone to distract her or give her something else to process or think about. This comes off about like I would expect from ARA involving feelings or emotions other than standard.

Yeah. Feels like she’s just going to be another sex character in a while. Ara’s magic will be gone. This is terrible.

It makes me think Katalag anthroids have an artificial hormone system to aid in understanding organics. It’d explain why Warning wants capacity testing so often. I also love that Nytro seems to want to maintain Ara’s innocence.
