Next part of Ask ARA! The chosen  course of action by you guys was to find Vikna and so she has. Vikna is pleasantly surprised, though acting similarly to Zeta, Vikna has more compassion and relation to ARA, being her corporate-assigned counterpart for the last few years. They've grown close, and surely the blue feline will help the red one figure out what to do when the Emperor arrives.

Or does she? ARA knows a lot about military tech, but social engagements are not one of her specialties. Even after being around high-ranking Kaltag personnel, Vikna has always been the highest Katrician officer she's interacted with, and has no learned programming for greeting the top generals, or the Emperor.

The next course of action, to suggest in the comments below!

"What or how, do you think is the best or proper way to greet him?" Luckily Vikna is here to help correct any mistakes!

Amazing. Just amazing, and hilarious!

Antoine Davis

I suggest greeting him and the guess that the Emperor would be with, also to just simply talk to him, be polite, tell a few jokes, start up an interesting conversation and not to be aggressive. Well, this is just me after all, and that i honestly don't know much. Also this is pretty cool.

Silvador

To properly greet royalty, one must compose themself with confidence and respect for the one he or she is meeting. One should dress with class, but not too flashy as to avoid upstaging the royalty. One's attire should make them appealing to behold, but not "give away the bone".

Simone Spinozzi

Why, obviously one searches on the network what's the proper way to greet an emperor... wait... you *DID* remember to put the "adult content filter" in that search, right? You would not want to mess up and get the wrong kind of greeting.

KHVathiel

When one talks the emperor, one must always be in a fancy dress or tux! Be formal, but don't be afraid to show yourself or some confidence! Also bring an offering like a toy or someone's jewelry.

Serow Arriss

I recall a tale of a most glorious Emperor who was presented with gifts of such impeccable clothing that only fools could not understand its beauty, mayhaps some sort of gift would be fitting of your first meeting with such a prestigious individual?

Gorehound

Well, generally when greeting royalty here on Terra, most people of the respective nationality (or what ever) would either bow, or give the national salute. If nothing else, a small gift consisting of what ever kind of item(s) said royal(s) like/enjoy the most would be a good course of action if you are meeting with them personally. But remember, the level of said greetings should depend on how formal the royal member(s) usually hold themselves. If they are generally very "high of themselves" (for lack of better words) then be sure to treat them as such (in ancient times this was the smart thing to do). But if the royal person(s) prefer to carry themselves as just a regular person, who is simply born into a high station (such as Miss Ayn), then I suppose a friendly/courteous greeting is probably all that's needed. But most important of all, is to be calm and confident when addressing them.

OMG, Vikna and Ara are super adorable like that XD

Synariel

Well, where i live we call royalty guillotine fodder.

warren dunstan

i think she should bow as he approaches

Evangellos

Wait, Ramenskaya? So Vikna's fathers name is Ramen? Hehehe

Thunderclap421

I'm not one for being over formal, even being military I don't over do it. So do a simple bow, but now just bending the neck. Then greet him, politely and don't add any meat to it. Simple and respectful. After that I'm not sure what to do, it's a bit early for me right now xD

Why is the emperor naked and what is he doing with that bowl of eggplants?

Kenith Fox

I think it would be wise to study the customs of the culture, beyond the ceremonial attire, if time permits. Also, you have to bring and evil emperor offerings and gifts too expensive for you to afford.

Volpethrope

Show Vikna your best salute, and hold the pose so she can correct your posture and hand position.

SwiftKitten

time to download the latest and install the latest formal speech etiquette subroutine.

Have Vikna correct your posture and social etiquette

Tell non stop pun jokes only fathers could appreciate. A few cheeky groaners with Vikna and then she’s Ara-edy prepared for him!

PhyreFox

Stand at attention. Proper salute and greeting. Be nude. But play it off like nothing is out of the ordinary. :D

Adleisio Cefnfor

I vote for something Data-esque, very knowledgeable and just nonchalant while talking about unique features of the culture. *shrugs*

Where's C-3PO when you need him.

Greet naturally as she would on the ship
