That salute is rather an interesting choice

OK, so the "moderate" armor is the standard for military guards. Thanks for giving a great visual example of it as well! And the small differences in the dress uniforms are much better for differentiating between military ranks than pins on the chest and patches on the shoulders, I feel. Great work as always on the worldbuilding, Fluff!

Varhand wolf is cute. Are her and the soldier dog actual characters, or are they just there to fill the suit?

It is a similar hand gesture as used by Cub Scouts [Usually 1st grade to age 12 or so] and Boy Scouts [Ages 13-18, if I remember the starting age correctly] in the US, but on the opposite hand and closer to face as in scouting it is held out so that elbow sits at a right angle. Ex for the Boy Scout gesture: http://www.boyscouttrail.com/i/w_badge_images/sign.gif

Vikna seems especially adorable today! Must be the smile. Overall this is quite an intriguing look at the Katrician rankings and combat uniforms. It's always a good time learning more about what goes on in this galaxy!

Hehe, she's actually a skunk, it's a small couple cameos by Cooldog(her), and Mag(the dog) for display purposes!

Thanks! Yeah I wanted to keep her a bit more cheerful instead of this annoyed look I seem to give her most the time, haha

When I first saw the uniforms and closely examined the top portion toward the collar, I was thinking "hey that looks like Star Trek TNG lol." In any case, what I always think about is what makes sense given a uniform and in the universe that it inhabits and the uniforms do look like they make sense. It could be the detail or simply that it fits the proportions of anthro characters. I am curious, where did you get the hexagon pattern in the background? I've seen you use it before and I'm curious because I've been looking everywhere for a simular pattern that would fit with Manga Studio / Sai.

Yesssss world building details. :3 good work birb <3

Now I am curious to see the enlisted ranks. And will there be any warrant ranks?

SVKwolf

It's Vikna and she's not even annoyed or grumpy!? That's wonderful... wait, what's the catch? >:3

Mag

These came out great man! Thanks for having 'ole Mag standing in as the uniform model subject XD

Pannonfur

Saluting like the poles.
