@1:54:00, Scott's take on Sheriff Naco engaging GWOT veterans in his local area is encouraging to hear. Unfortunately, a lot of law enforcement heads, especially in blue states, look at combat veterans from the GWOT as liabilities and will never apply the same approach. Point being, is as great as this is to hear, I think we're already too little too late and the best the most of us can do is just prepare our individual families for a worst case scenario.

The federal government will never allow the terrorism problem to be solved. We literally created them to fight the Russians. Everything they do, the do at the behest of our government. Why do you think we still fund them. Terrorists give our government a reason to unconstitutionally control every aspect of our individual lives. That is way more valuable to our government than the lives lost to terrorists or the positive optics of actually solving the problem. There is not a single politician or government employee at the congressional level up that genuinely cares about the American people.

What can guys like me with zero military experience do to be an asset and not a liability in a crisis? I'm already taking multiple courses at SigSauer Academy. Wow, the Fantastic Four, all is one sitting...Shawn, Sarah, Scott, Legend! Listening to where American tax dollars go is enraging because if you miss one payment or one dollar is missing on your taxes...the IRS threatens you with a financial penalty and jail time. All for your hard-earned money to go to terrorists that want nothing more than to kill you. I'm reaching out to a good brother of mine, former big city Fire Chief and current head honcho over am emergency management group (gov't type). He's dialed in, I just want to make sure he starts by watching the episodes with Sarah, LTC Mann, and Legend. All of them are worth watching, probably again.

We need to do our part. Mike Glover started something with American Contingency, and in some areas, it really did work as designed. I ran a pretty large group with the intent of slicing people out into their own local groups -similar format to an ODA, but man there were challenges. Mainly, while we had a pretty large group and spun up pretty quickly (making it up as we went along.) and was a model for other groups. I talked to folks all over the country, telling them what we did right, what we did wrong. But folks were really too spaced out. We wanted a 10 min response time, but in some cases, it was like 45 min - 60. The areas that did have the people we got them started and I hope they are still moving on. Unfortunately, the nature of man showed up and train wrecked the whole thing with divisiveness, lies, and general BS because they weren't in control. Anyway, the model stands. ID people you'd want to form up with. Find a way to vet them. We used all the free background check websites we could find, social media, and in-person interviews. Once they were vetted, we provided our mission statement. During those interviews we assessed their capabilities and the areas they needed to bolster up. We provided training. Medical, long term food and water storage, some training on the intel side (Area studies etc) and even tactical/firearms training, because I had...probably 12 people who really had no grasp of handling firearms safely (some brand new first time gun owners), but we started with the basics and built on that. For one year, I did not spend a single weekend with my family. It was that important to me and our group. Now I live around a bunch of retired people.... And I'm still trying to work up a plan. Work with what you have though. That was always at the forefront of my mind. Build individuals up. Build families up, and building your community will pretty much follow. I saw it work. Then I saw the train wreck and that was that. Just some things I thought I'd share - for what its worth. I'll never forget Mike's opening comment: " GET OFF THE BENCH!!!" and that struck a chord with hundreds and hundreds of people - maybe even thousands across the country. But once some people realized they need to put out as well as take in - that shed folks like an Alaskan Husky in the summer time in Texas.

Two questions. I understand Legend probably could not take a position in the Trump administration. However, would it not be beneficial to have Sarah and Scott take high ranking positions within the Trump administration and would they take those positions? I know as a veteran and as a citizen I would support as would I think all Americans support those two and supportive staff, heading up a different type of agency that dealt with this directly!
