Anyone interested in seeing some old school Vigilance Elite content?Personal Content, Gun Reviews, Training and more.

Comments

Tom

More VE? Uh, yeah! Is this a trick question?

Micky

I bought a sig 365 XL no shooting experience . Can you have your wife or another female go over shooting similar gun?

Tony T-bone Hansen

ANYTHING except for catholic priests. Please, not another one for at least a couple years

Jesse

Episode 1 with additional info or follow up(s).

JerryK

I would think your much beyond that shit

JIM NEWMAN

A good mix of everything is always fun to look forward to

Jon Green

Old is new to me - go for it!

Richard Beemer

By all means, I conduct handgun training and have gotten alot out of Shawns training segments

STACY SWANIGAN

That’s when I originally signed up!

Bill

Absolutely.

Brooks

All the videos that are only accessible through YouTube would be fan-flippin-tastic 🦅🇺🇸🤙🏻…Boom Diggity

Nick Bryant

Yes maybe more CQB stuff, but practical stuff. Like inside your home and maybe with your wife. Showing a couple how to clear the house.

JIM NEWMAN

Can you get the old Vimeo and YouTube videos in updated format ?

Fernando

Ditto for @David Armstrong's comment.

Patmos

Maranantha

Brian Rokosz

Gun reviews, fireside chats, and bring back the FLANNELS!

Brandon Dague

Yes. The reason I found you was because of that shit.

UtilityGuy

Fuck yeah, Gun reviews, basic fundamentals, saftey!!

Adam Zbozien

Of course. It should have been an option all along.

C

I have enough trouble keeping up with interviews! Not that I don't respect your content. Assuming you do post older material, can you make an option to sort content?

Fernando Borrase

Most of us came here for that in the first place 👌🏽 I still think it would be great to have a video from you explaining how you came to follow god like you do now. I haven't been able to put the pieces together from the small bits you mention throughout your interviews.

Harry T.

A small Percent devoted to developing skill would be appreciated. There is a trust with you. "youtube" has many that are or aren't worth their advice.

Judy Symes

Just need a cataloging to go with everything! Old and new.

Larry Turner

Absolutely. First video of yours that intrigued me was "Vigilance Elite - Do Spec Ops Dudes EDC Carry 1 in the Pipe?" after that it was "The 36 Yard Zero Target" and I was hooked. It's real, it's practical.

Jim Harmon

I came late to the game so I never saw any of that stuff but would love to see it.

Doug Snavely

YES! I really felt brotherly towards you when you were drinking the Bubly by the creek and just opening up honestly about your struggles. You and Glover in Walmart was fun...

JerryK

Palantir's operating funds just crossed the 1B mark... Not to say your interview placed them there....

JerryK

But it didn't hurt

a Aron

I found Shawn years back with his firearm training and tips. His 36yrd Zero is still saved in my favs. May not be for everyone, but I have always respected his knowledge and even though he has new endeavors, I would welcome a new updated set of tutorials. My 3 cents of ideas.

Dorene King

Shawn - are you interested in VE Members suggesting 3 people to interview and why?

Leah McAlister

🔥 fireside chats …that’s when I started 😅 would love to see another of those 🫶🏻

Dave

sure

OutdoorPro

Give us the good good stuff Brother.

jackl

Don't have enough time to watch all your shows, just not enough time in the day for all the in depth interviews you do, I just have to pick and choose. Great interviews.

Valkyrie

I agree: training

L

Have you ever invited Hetfielfd? Curious if he’s a thinker like mustaine.

Don Joslin

For this old man, I really enjoy the War Fighters more so than I do any other content. In discussion with some of my friends this was mentioned, how we miss the Men and Women who has been deployed multiple times. Please think about giving us more of them type rather than some new start up companies or some bizarre UFO stories. Not saying you may be losing some listeners, but this reminds me of The Coach Vince Lombardi after having not sa good of a game/ season. To paraphrase je had the players in their locker room and said “ Gentleman this is a football “ The jest of my point is he went back to basics, because that is what made them so great! We want yous to continue to grow w audiences!!! You do a remarkable job here ! You really have the gift!!! Keep up the GOOD work, the War Fighters and Superbad!!! May God Continue to Bless You and OUR NATION!!!

Alex Bonamarte

I always love to see quality content, instruction and insights. Plus given the steady refinement in production quality, it's sure to be excellent and well received. Side note regarding production specifics: I have noticed that the majority of instructional firearms content has a fixed position camera from segment to segment, scene to scene. I think multiple camera angles throughout with competent editing could yield a vastly superior product. One from the POV of an observer (for example on the firing line next to the instructor ) paired with shots from the instructor 's point of view with close up shots for specifics and details. Some "obvious" things like the mechanics of proper grip, manipulations etc. from the POV of the practitioner or a very close observer that makes understanding, evaluating and replicating them easier would also render the content significantly more valuable and differentiate it from other content out there. Time permitting, I had planned to release an app that offers self paced guidance and drills that incorporate these characteristics but would be happy to see someone else embrace that "in depth" yet straight forward approach to tutorials. - Alex

Mike Ettore

More Warfighters and associated training content, please!

Terry Sweeney

Shawn, you are blessed from God and have a true gift. Keep up the great work brother.

Bobby

Been here from the early days of fireside chat and your infamous land nav. story 👍 You’re sincere one of a kind approach and watching your personal journey and transformation is humbling and very commendable. GODSPEED SIR! Carry on 🇺🇸

Roberto Lucci

I am definitely ready to see that content!

Paul Barratt

More like Jay Cal, Sarah Adams. Three letter agency stuff. Thank you for all you do Shawn. 👍🏼

B Paris

Need a re run of old hats too. I need a new Green Grey V

christian bachman

Would absolutely love to see some old school stuff and expecially some gun reviews !!

Bubba Oh Seven

More Talks with Sara Adams. I'd like to see more Survivalist / Prepping Content. Maybe bring on Pastor Joe Fox from Viking Preparedness.

Craig Hunter

I just want safe content. The VE YT channel has been violently overthrown by extremist EX-MIL folks that are rightfully extremely protective of who they are as an elite Membership, but real AHs about it. I even got what appeared to be an actual phone call from Shawn (Caller ID) that was of course a ruse. I finally gave up on the YT channel and someone/something actively 'interacting' as Shawn (SEVERAL times, & I'm a nobody on the radar). Now I ONLY come here to PATREON to see if there's a video I'm interested in from time to time. I'm a cheapskate so don't have any "Membership/Subscriptions" out there on the www, and that''s on me. It's just the way it is. I just wanna safe YT experience if I ever choose to 'engage' on your channel again! Of course I'll keep watching because of so much of your excellent content. Thick skin not withstanding, I was extremely surprised at my couple of week experience on your YT channel. 'loveLoveLOVE all your work/success Shawn! Praise God brother!

GmanGLK

YES! & please know you most definitely give me hope for my grandchildren possibly being able to experience some of the United States Of America the same way I did growing up. Keep on keeping on young man you are meant for great things.

Gerard Bono

I'd like to see more Survivalist / Prepping Content.

Thomas

Yes— have a growing collection want to learn some good drills re: pit training at the range…

SEAN ƴü KAY

Somehow this feels like a trick question...the answer is such a resounding "Yes, please, and Always" I almost can't sit comfortably with "No" even listed as an actionable option... To me, it reads, "to vote, please select Option #1 for: "Hell Yes!" Option #2 for: "Yes, Thank-you, Santa... I see you got the letters I have been sending about how the more extra content the better...I didn't realize it was Christmas morning already! -Yay!""

Bir

Yes! It would be enlightening for me

Frank

One of favorites was your breakdown of home defense weapons. I sent that one to everyone….thanks for cutting through the bs

Ryan Wiessing

Would really like to hear from some more Vietnam War veterans. The episode with Major James Capers was absolutely riveting! You could still see that true Marine warfighter in him all these years later...

Ryan Wiessing

Would definitely love to see some good shooting drills as well

Will

Would like to see that stuff and see the podcast go back to the older content, as some of the newer stuff and guests seem to be getting away from why most of started following the channel.

tsled

Training would be great.

Casey Sparks

It’s always good to see the old content mixed in with the new. You’ve grown such a great platform and would love to see more of the things you did in your “old” jobs and how you apply them today

JustAGirl315

I have always enjoyed going back to the beginning of a show to remind me how far the show has grown. 😉

Doctor P.

Would love to learn everything I've forgotten- ( who said don't get dead #1 rule )

Doctor P.

Where does one go to send email into command center ???

Kyle Frederick

Not sure you need to put new content out but possibly just repost or clean up some of the already existing videos.

Bill Fleming

Still waiting to receive my Newsletters and Sara Adams updates please

Tim

More interviews of the vets, interesting humans, everyday people of all origins. More follow up interviews with live resources such as Sarah Adams, and the other investigative journalists. Less interviews with billionaires that are out of touch.

Peter

I would really appreciate a discussion around how to best financially support military veterans. Which program funnel the highest % of dollars to directly benefit vets…vs those that are eaten up by administrative costs.

Jay Goth

The classic stuff like reading a room, navigating strange areas, etc were great and I'd love to see them again.

Ed

The podcast as well as the YouTube world is very niche based. On top of veterans, I am sure this channel appeals to XXX agency members (current or former) and anyone who is interested in the military (and spy) industrial complex. The people you (Mr. Ryan) are able to bring to the table are interested in talking to a Navy Seal along with a handful of other Special Operations personnel. It's easy to explain to their circle of friends who they talked to. I do like to hear from anyone in power irrespective of their party (I as a conservative sat on Senator Booker's and former Senator Menendez's service academy nomination committee for years). I am sure that your inventory of "who to speak to" is getting scarce because of your freaking awesome run. I would like to hear from some of the XO's that served is some of the far reaches of the world like General Petraeus in Iraq or how about some more Medal of Honor recipients or how about some of the people who flew SR-71s (if any are left) or how about a historian of John Boyd (someone who deserves a statue but pissed off too many people in the pentagon) ... this is where it gets hards but really interesting

FrenchFriedFool85

I do not do Youtube for this program . I prefer Patreon

Charmaine

Would you please consider having " Jane Doe " on again? (Friend of Sarah Adams ) and also catch up with Andrew Bustamante and Mike Benz again ? There has been so much happening in the world since you last interviewed these three insightful people. Thank You!

Kenneth L. Hand

I would love for you to interview Voddie Baucham. I believe you will grow immensely in your faith with this interview.

American 67

Anything you do is worth the watch!!!!

Good guy Nice guy

Absolutely Sean Ryan you’re the man dude. Thank you for your service as well, brother.

Julie Silva

The curiosity level of patreons is high. The more information that is available helps to satisfy my interests.

Brodie

Hell yeah bro!! Bring back the story time with all the guys man that been years ago

Fish

Nashville carry tips and Ideas would be nice.

Kevin O’Malley

I would love to see the old Gun content. I would also like to see more content around the backstory on different moments as the show grew. Maybe like inflection points each time you hit a new level or accomplishment where you knew things were moving into a bigger realm or becoming more serious/ profitable. The insane growth of the operation / show is a really interesting and untold story I feel like.

Jonathan Drzewiecki

Love the roots of your show and I love how it’s changed but I would love you to go back to your roots 👍🇺🇸

Jeff Alkire

Bring on more athletes and musicians. Usually "team guys/gals" who train and practice hard to hone their craft and spend a lot of time away from home. Not to mention the stories! More pilots too!

Beverly

Would enjoy a new episode of married life with Katie & 2 kiddies, the fire pit & the two wooden chairs. And another episode with Katie interviewing you about the last few years challenges growing the Shawn Ryan Show, e.g., getting guests, refusing wannabe guests, finding the right personnel, travel arrangements, trips or plans that went wrong, other struggles. Thanks.

Danny White

Loved your old Youtube videos that provided this content.

Jenni Madden

These videos are what caused me to keep looking, listening and watching.

Mark J Gennarelli

Continue to read and learn about improvements by the firearms industry.

Coya Craig

I began watching to learn what real men of faith handle the trauma and the battles of life. I am a 73 yr old woman and a believer. I admire the faith of men who can trust God and be noble in saving others.

Dog

The Dan Schneider job was great. You asked the “For Dummies” questions that everyone could relate to.

Arthur Bieniek

I love everything you do brother, keep up the amazing work. God bless you and your family and team

Lonnie S Vaughn

No one else has the variable range of topics, guests as you do. I've learned a significant amount from the folks you have hosted. Remind us from where you've taken all of us. Your guests have such an amazing amount of exposure that you tweeze out to help us understand their uniqueness and differences in their content. Thank you for using your interview gifting to get us in the weeds of global interests. Also, your fan base is also very eclectic. I support your early days of podcasts and meaningful shows that reach out to your comrades and global leaders. You never disappoint.

Jerry Davis

Love your content Shawn! You have an insane talent for interviewing people from an average American Level. I really appreciate that. I'd love to see some gun reviews and set ups. Any training would be appreciated. Switching it up once in a while I think would be great. God Bless you and your family.

Ellisa

Shawn, I will be praying for your spiritual growth. God Bless you on your walk with the Lord. I come from a similar background as you. Raised Catholic, but left the religion because I wasn't being fed spiritually. It wasn't until after I had my daughter that I had an encounter with a woman who led me to Christ with a very simple, but profound question that changed my life completely. I attend a Bible-based, Non-Denominational church where they preach line-by-line, verse-by-verse through the Bible breaking it all down. I believe the Bible IS to be taken literally, but not out of context, which is where a lot of people go wrong with the Bible. It is living and breathing and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12) Thank you for chasing the topic of Spirituality and all that falls into that category. I am like you when it comes to this subject. I am totally fascinated and in aw of the mystery of who God is and all he is capable of. and the best part in YOU NEVER GET TO THE BOTTOM OF HIM. There is always something new to be learned. I am so intrigued with the spiritual realm and watching all of your interviews with people who crack this topic open hits all the right buttons for me. Keep going. Keep asking questions. Never stop seeking after God. Don't be afraid to question God, just never test Him. On top of everything, your life is SO PRECIOUS. So much so, that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8).

Investigator Steven M Waldo

Thank you for asking Shawn, but to be honest it feels to me a little bit like the doctor of mathematics asking me whether his equation looks correct. You do what has brought you to this point and we will be more than happy to be on your hay wagon.

Ellisa

BTW, Shawn, I would love to see you interview Joshua Zatkoff. His story of coming from drug addiction to Christianity is mind blowing.

FLH Greg

Maybe do a few samples and see how it goes. Please post us a notice- looking forward to it

Justin313

Frog Logic Rut needs to do commentary literally sitting next to you for the OG stuff. He has to make an appearance once in a while Shawn. Have a great Thursdy 🤙🏽

Jared Rivers

Wish I had resources that could help you do what you do. Thank you for your genuine concern for your fellow man. Personally was ashamed of the Afgan withdrawal and you interviewed their leader and he expressed his love for our men and women fighting for their cause and single handedly handed us all back the honor lost in that fiasco. Thank you, Him, and everyone that stood up for what was right. Fckn OUTSTANDING! FOR FREEDOM!

Asztalos Focus Fire Support LLC

Jim Caviezel & Sarah Adams episodes for sure. Maybe make her a co-host. Also, as far as religious leaders you've had on, I'd like to recommend Jack Hibbs of Cavalry Chino Hills, Ca. He is a wealth of information and my go to pastor after Chuck Smith passed away. I was raised a Catholic, but I found Cavalry Chapel to be more fulfilling. The ministry is more of a Bible study, and they focus mainly on Jesus. I've been saved since 2003. I was born in 1970. That might tell you I've had quit a sinful life. Anyway, think about it. You won't be disappointed.

James Horner

All your stuff is awesome so I'd watch any of it. Im in TN also and listen to your shows all day while im working and home. Love it true patriot its great you're doing things Noone else is its all about the truth and opening people's eyes to the goings on around us. Keep up the great work.
