John Rich is an American country music singer-songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur. He first gained prominence as a bassist and vocalist in the band Lonestar from 1992 to 1998, contributing to hits like "Amazed."

In 1998, he co-founded the duo Big & Rich with Big Kenny Alphin, achieving multi-platinum success with albums like Horse of a Different Color (2004) and singles such as "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)," blending country with rock and rap influences.

As a solo artist, Rich released tracks like "Shuttin' Detroit Down" (2009) and hosted CMT's Gone Country while winning Celebrity Apprentice in 2011, raising over $1.3 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

An entrepreneur, he launched Redneck Riviera whiskey and a Nashville bar, and co-founded Old Glory Bank. Rich supports causes like veterans through the Return the Favor campaign with the VFW and online child safety, partnering with DHS for a 2025 livestream on protecting kids from predators. In 2025, he received the Bob Hope Award at the Patriot Gala for military advocacy.

Yes, God will get our country if something isn’t done about the kids IF we all sat back and did nothing. However, there are TONS of people out there fighting! We have been fighting. Do you know the amount of people that went to prison for praying at abortion clinics the last 4 years? We haven’t been silent. There are entire corporations doing big things. There are large companies fighting with BIG lawyers. Millions have been spent. We haven’t reached the kids though - until Charlie Kirk, so yes, He knows we are fighting. The fight has been real. Here’s the deal: you have to turn that energy not at your country because that’s wrong and I rebuke John Rich’s statements against this country in this interview. I void them in the name of Jesus Christ. Words have severe power dude. God will ALWAYS have a remnant if He does this type of thing EVERY time. He always saves the good ones before He destroys the bad. He is in us, so we will never undergo His wrath. That’s scripture. Now, we are to fight the good fight, and he’s right about satanic people vs the body of Christ. We’ve lost our sight on the Kingdom. We are building THE kingdom of God - first Jesus will reign - then the Age of God. We MUST 100% know the entire Bible and not just parts. Now, everyone’s calling is different, so I’m not judging, but I am correcting out of love. This is very important to get. We have to start acting as ONE body of Christ with our eyes fixed on Jesus and focused on the Kingdom of God first and foremost in ALL we do. Does this further the kingdom is the question we have to start asking. Now, what you can start doing is calling out the body of Christ to awaken. I take the scales off their eyes, my God apply salve to their eyes, and let them see your Glory, your Truth, and let Your body Christ move as one like never seen or felt before. Let us be strong and steadfast, unshakeable in conviction. Let us be the light of the world and the salt of the earth, let us be unstoppable in all things, according to your will, and let us be smart, undeceivable, and walk with you as you will it. Let the powers of heaven reign down on this world, be stronger and more powerful than ever before, that the Holy Spirit of God filling men will become normal in this land, strong and mighty and overflowing in Your Glory! Let us fight the good fight like no generation has ever fought before, so the world will know YOU ARE GOD! So go after the body to get involved, to speak out, to NOT agree with evil, to say I disagree, to open your eyes to truth, to seek truth, and to choose LIFE in Christ. That’s what we are missing - and it’s what everyone needs. They need a purpose and a direction, and we can all get behind protecting kids. That, ALL Americans will fight for in all ways, and that is our battle cry, but you won’t move them like this. We’ve got to get the silent majority to see differently because all their lives they’ve been taught wrong, and it starts in the pulpits and in getting the body out to the fields, under tents, and out of the buildings!! That’s how our country started and that’s how it’ll end! 😉 I’m about to do just that — well I’m about to get a bunch of people to do just that 🤣 and I’m sure I’ll be or someone will be reaching out to your teams soon to do that. When you hear tents and preaching, say yes!! Welp I wrote a book 😛 My bad ❤️ I can make you some Biblical lyrics to sing right from God’s heart. I’ll work in the shadow until He tells me otherwise, which is soon even though Lord knows I fight it. I’ll do it though, but only when He tells me to move. Many are out there like me. 😉 I don’t need anything. This would be a favor for God not for me or you. I don’t operate that way, but I do need to remember that when I give stuff out because I don’t think like that. All I want is truth and God. Keep stirring the body of Christ. Stir them hard, but look at how Jesus did it. Say it how He said it. Look at Paul and David and Jeremiah (although I don’t think many followed him in his day) but look at how they approached people. Realize they had different callings. Approach how they did. Or tell God to speak through you through His spirit, and He will just take over - that’s amazing. We’ve got this and He’s got this!! I would say read Matthew 5 the sermon on the mount. Jesus was the fulfillment of the Law . I am posting it here because The Jewish People were looking for Messiah coming with that would put the hurt on those who persecuted them. Jesus said after his resurrection he would ascend and send the Holy Spirit to teach comfort an guide. Operating independent of God is a sin. I humble myself and I am changed by the Holy Spirit each day by the "washing of my mind with the Word and meditating on it day and night. Serving one another in church and out side . Expository teaching is very good ! Find a church that preaches Word by Word book by book. God gives us the Gift of discernment free to be able to tell false teacher from to one called by God. Also the Devil with come to you as a shining light so that you might be deceived in to all winds of doctrine tosses to and fro by waves .

37:05. When he is talking about his mom , it's so true. If you have a parent who refuses to take accountability or apologize for mistakes they made as a parent it makes it really hard, even as a strong Christian to have a relationship. Because you need to have boundaries with unhealthy people, and sometimes that means not a close relationship even with one parent. Actually John Darby is the preacher that came up with the entire rapture story! And then this teaching went into every Bible college and seminary since the early 1800’s. The rapture is not a well taught theology in other parts of the world. I’m surprised John Rich doesn’t know this. The entire teaching is false. Pre or post rapture tribulation has always torn preachers on their beliefs, so it’s not a big deal in what John Rich is saying…

Great show as usual, That song definitely needs released with Shawn 100% in the video. As a previous first responder, father, and grandfather that song really touched my soul. The song brought several emotions anger for the times we are living, hurt for the children and what some of them experience, anger for the ones that harm these babies, and even tears and chills knowing myself and other likeminded would do exactly what that song says and stands for. Not only for our own but other’s children and grandchildren as well.

Shawn, towards the end of your interview with John, “which was eye opening “ you mentioned the Vaccine. I was a very healthy, but older Man. I took the vaccine for a loved one. Great statement about being an older dad. My daughter was home from college this past weekend and she told my wife and I ‘you are so lucky you are older parents’. Amazed me. She said if you had me when you were younger you would most likely be divorced and/or alcoholics. She had a very interesting take but I always appreciated that my wife and I were both engaged to other people and it fell apart thanks to God! We married at 31 and 29 after dating for over two years. Righteous Hunter, John is dead on about you starring in the video of that song Shawn! I have even bigger ideas and they started even before John mentioned Mel Gibson doing a movie about it. I see you in that video Shawn taking out either a single threat or a few dude’s that have taken one or both of your children just as you would have as an operator and those men disappear or found without any knowledge what ever happened. I see you playing yourself in it. The spin off is a few closest SEAL buddies know the truth Dave Rutherford your best friend. Some how, Maybe Eric Prince hears about it and has a special client that has had a child taken by a cartel or something. You’re enlisted to go after this Cartel and you’re on the fence but you decide that you choose you your own Team and you start recruiting from all your badass Special forces friends you’ve interviewed that are passionate this shit. Mike Ritland, Mike Glover, DJ Shipley, Ben Owen, Dave Rutledge, the names go on and on.. That’s the movie and if done right, I think that movie could rival any of the biggest movies of all time.. I’m serious, it could be one of the most profound movies all time, especially when you’re all the real deal, no bullshit actors..

The song is what people need to hear to get a foot in the door to get the parents of America to understand and open the eyes of the heart, that God wants to use them to enforce the law. We have the authority to enforce the Law of God and destroy the works of the enemy and expose them and get the Judgement of God and put those demons back in the Pit where they belong! Remember stay in the safety of the Law! It is swift and strong and you need to do what is legal whether in the Spirit of the Law of God and the letter of the law of man.
