This is another episode that gives me hope that we are headed in the right direction. It has to be hard for most of your guests to figure out what can be talked about and what can't. Sometimes when questions are asked I think about if I was in their shoes. I would want to give listeners hope without compromising the truth. I wouldn't want to give our enemies information to use against us or know what "secret weapons" we may have. It's definitely like walking a tight-rope. Sometimes I have to use this perspective when I see/hear a guest who seems to be dancing around issues. All in all this was another great interview. Great to hear as an American and as someone who has people near and dear serving our country. Keep fighting the good fight everyone!

Very, very impressive! IMO, he had no hesitation with questions and his answers were so complete, interesting and informative! Positivity along with soldiers returning to being proud to serve, also it is refreshing to hear of cleaning up spending and direct it to our troops for parts of equipment and have them produce it instead of manufactured outside Army! I agree also regarding Israel, Oct 7 Israel was heinously attacked on innocent civilians and barbaric killings, and we have to remember Israel is surrounded by huge Arab Muslim countries that despise Israel/Jews! Their hate is Biblical/ Hamas used Gaza’s people as human shields and they have starved their own people! It would be a wonderful interview for you to do with Amir Tsarfati! He can explained Biblically and into today’s world! Just remember the Muslims Obama flew into the US are getting too brave and brazen! They despise Jews and. Christians and if left as is they will begin their barbaric killings here!

Appreciate you guys. Media really needs to go.

We don't have a gun problem, we have a mental health problem nationwide. But the solution to the mental health is too expensive for our governments to pay for. We have to bring back state mental hospitals and bring back meaningful counselling ....... not just checking boxes. They'd rather spend money on other bullshit programs (like DEI)

I wish Shawn had asked about the Fort Stewart shooting and the realities of behavioral health in the Army. Soldiers face massive delays in getting care sometimes weeks or months which leaves us exposed, unsupported, and vulnerable. The Army needs faster behavioral health access and real support systems. We shouldn’t have to fight our chain of command just to get treatment, or risk being sent to the field because providers are overloaded and updates don’t reach leaders in time. That breakdown makes it feel like soldiers’ health doesn’t matter to soldiers and that it’s just a numbers game for field exercises. We should get Soldiers up to speed to be ready to fight, train, and win.

M1s exert less pressure per square inch on the ground (or close) than a passenger vehicle. Worked at GD for three years at the tank plant in Warren Michigan. When one of the M1s was moved from one facility to another on a state road, the local weighmaster tried to cite them until this was pointed out.

Right to repair is a big issue for everyone in the USA. Glad he's bulldozing those restrictions, and hope that it adds to the calls for the rest of us. There's a guy who repaired apple computer motherboards in NYC, I think, Louis Rossman, who has had a lot to say about this issue for the last 5 years or more. I'm not sure when the regulations hit, but definitely driven by industry and PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE. On the question about Israel, he immediately shifted the goal posts to openly say he wanted to frame their continued overkill in Gaza. That's when I had to stop and comment: I think it's time to move passed their initial "righteous indignation" and focus on the current conditions. I would also say that I don't think it's "dividing" us, as much as it's just a fact that more and more of us are feeling righteous indignation about Israel's ongoing behavior, concerning common human decency. He wants to say, in his reframing of the question, that all countries have the same principles, regarding civilian casualties. I think there's a difference, at the principle level, between the USA, when we say, "only when it's unavoidable", and Israel, who are alleged to have developed RoE with actual numbers in a ratio of innocents to military tagets. It's a significant difference in the basic principle, no matter what happens in any particular moment on the ground. I can hear all of that in his framing of his answer, but I'll listen to the rest of his answer. The reframing, IMO, is disingenuous, because it's an appeal to emotional pretense, instead of a direct answer. That's what happens when you actually say you are reframing the question. Thanks for the interview. It's interesting. ADD: I listened to the rest and appreciate the pushback, Shawn.

I don't think they keep voting the same people in. I think there's just so much cheating in the elections they just keep getting back in.

Good one Shawn! Very interesting and informative interview! The Federal bureaucracy, like the Deep State will always push back hard on change that makes sense. I was skeptical at first about the Department of War, etc but I think it states clearly that we are not the same now as under the DEI leadership of Biden or Obama and it shows appropriate strength not aggression. Good job and good luck Secretary Driscoll!

Michele McDermott

What an outstanding interview-President Trump has absolutely top notch people in his administration. I’m so impressed with how quickly he answers questions- clearly and concisely (no word salad!!!)

Josh Pomponio

Great interview to give us a really strong understanding of our Army now and in the future!!
