If I may be so bold, there is one other element that you may be bringing up the private companies the bigger ones I’ve heard rumors of and actually had this told me by trucking unions that they tend to rubberstamp or arrange to have licenses rubber stamped ““ if you know what I mean so because a lot of these companies, they’re playing a fast and loose of the rules andto get other drivers in perfect opportunity to get somebody in the country like that

I almost forgot there was something recent in Alberta that they shut down some fraudulent trucking schools just recently so the question is how many of these guys have Canadian truck driver licenses that are hopping back-and-forth over the border

I’m having trouble understanding this. As an executive with a transportation firm, we thoroughly vet all of our drivers prior to onboarding. Are these individuals operating as owner-operators? If so, why aren’t the brokers conducting proper screening procedures?

Actually, the Trucking Industry deserves any problems they've earned. But the American People don't deserve it. It only got worse under Biden and Obama because of the allowance of untrained Foreign Nationals. At one time most Truckers were independent and made a lot of their own rules, took care of their own problems and made a decent living. When a young Man or Girl wanted to drive a truck like Dad, they rode along, learned to drive, learned truck maintenance, learned their limits and improved on their skills. They could drive big trucks with 10, 13 or 18 gears, and back into spaces only fit for a mini van. They did this for years under Dad or Grandpa's supervision and wisdom, and learned the business. They became real Truckers. It was a way of life. But over the past 15 to 20 years, the Trucking Companies.... Werner, KLLM, US Express, Swift and Dozens of others, have changed their business models to basically be slave labor with young pimple faced kids, making the equivalent of minimum wage, while shoving them through a 4 to 6 week drivers school, helping them get their CDL, putting them with a Trainer on the road for a couple of weeks and then turning them loose with a 40 Ton Machine with a speed governor of 60 MPH and strict driving hours. The result is, a constant turn-over of new (and inexperienced) faces, poor safety and driving records, constant safety hazards, drivers who can't back into spaces to unload, drivers being pushed beyond their limits to drive while sleepy and tired instead of being able to decide for themselves. Truck stops began catering to Travelers with RV's, and replacing home cooking Cafe's with McDonalds, and Subway . A Glorified Convenience Store with Fast Food and Diesel Pumps. Now instead of a trucker eating homemade sandwiches out of his cooler and a thermos of coffee, so he could continue driving and get the load in on time....... You have a young kid, 600 miles from home with 4 or 5 dollars in his pocket and trying to see how much fast food or junk food he can buy for the next 3 days, until his check hits the bank. He'll be out on the road for 6 weeks before they let him go home for 3 or 4 days. They are miserable on the road and their families are starving back home. And it's all to make more money for a big business. Truckers at one time, could drive for longer distances, make the load on time, and knew their limits on safety. But today, you have such an increase in the number of trucks, because the companies employ new and inexperienced drivers and exploit what they have. It's a very common scenario, to see a young driver get out of his or her truck, carrying everything they own or can carry, and simply walk away from the truck, leaving it in the parking lot and catching a bus back home. The Trucking Industry went from hard working, happy, safe, and well paid lifers who owned their own trucks, to young kids with dreams of adventure and TV Trucker Life, no money, unskilled, unsafe, unhappy, and undependable. The Industry has destroyed itself. But Now, imagine Hazardous Materials running up and down the highways being driven by some inexperienced kid or a suspected terrorist.

This is insane, this is literally a foreign Intelligence Officers dream to get in undocumented, make contacts and relationships in the United States. I had some suspicions of this being an issue after that semi crash in Florida but now you're confirming my suspicions. Keep up the great intelligence. PS: I'm also a Florida resident Sarah. I'm on the east coast but I suspect you're somewhere in the Orlando or Tampa area. Do you even do events locally?

When you log on to California DMV. They Indicate you need a social security card and two forms of residence proof utility bills rent receipts.

I just googled getting a cdl in California and although the rules tightened up 9/26 from the Federal Government. Google is stating much of what Sarah is saying with much less detail.

I've wondered for years that people of Middle Eastern decent have bought a high % of hotels, gas stations, trucking companies.... they are positioned to house commandos, detonate gas stations and halt shipping overnight. God willing this all is just coincidence

Thanks to Shawn Ryan and Sarah Adams to giving us some truth. I've wondered about the Truckers that seem to only be able to follow along with regular traffic rolling in the fast lane and NOT getting over for vehicles to pass. Lots of times it's due to cars not letting them over. BUT I believe from having a CDL myself that I've seen a decline in the skills of CDL big rig drivers. Almost seems to be the same poor driving with even regular auto vehicular drivers. OR is it just me?

Great intel! I live near the famous (infamous) Monteagle Mountain where I-24 runs east/west between Nashville and Chattanooga. The road is jam packed with trucks 24/7 on a stretch that is known for accidents and is even sung about (Johnny Cash, Jerry Reed, etc). I avoid the interstate at all cost because so many of the truck drivers are absolutely horrible drivers unlike the pros of 30-40 years ago. Thank you for highlighting this growing National disaster!

This has been on my mind for a long time now. I work for a building products distributor, and I have been in the business since 2002. The LTL drivers that deliver product now are almost ALL foreign. Sometimes it's hard to even get them to tell us in comprehensive English what company they drive for when we check them in. This reaches SO MANY aspects of everyday commerce. It's terrifying.

Thank you for great information as always! I had a brother-in-law that worked at a weigh station NC/VA line that recently retired, he could not wait to get away from DMV due to the ones in Raleigh had no clue and made DMV miserable! While at the weigh station he witnessed the illegal truckers and stated, how horrible they were and how arrogant they were, so between them and truckers tire conditions, no one would want to drive on a road they are on! I have a sister that is DMV that was once worked In driver’s license and is now in School bus training and in both again because of Raleigh the stress level is intense! While in Driver’s license-she had a female that was there to get her license and from an Arab Country and her husband came with her and when she went out to call the lady for her driving test, the husband stood up as if he was coming too and she quickly told him, he was not allowed! So as they left the building and started on the route in a busy city, it became real quick to detect she had probably never driven! So, my sister was in the middle of explaining why she had failed and to take the next turn right to go back to DMV, well she took a right and kept going and refused to do what my sister said, she finally pulled over and by that time my sister was livid, and the lady was crying and telling my sister she could not take her back, she could not take her back and my sister told her, if you do not make the turn to go back, she will call the State Troopers and not only have you failed, your ass will be going to jail! She finally got back on road and when they got back, my sister got out of car slammed the door, went into the building and the husband got up and she told him, she failed and don’t ever bring her back her! My sister said, she felt that the lady was scared of her husband and what he would do because she failed but the 2 times she about got them killed and then not bringing her back, the compassion went out the window! DMV in NC is a constant CF due to Raleigh’s decisions and now citizens trying to get an appointment it is ridiculous! They are so under manned!

Hey Sarah, what about similarly in Home care agencies? Do they vet which programs the individuals came form? Same for nursing. Remember when we had the fake RN License scandals from satellite schools issuing fake licenses? Couldn't that also be a potential way for terrorists to establish themselves within the US going unnoticed potentially for years until they're "activated " and have access to our most vulnerable and most profitable (per GDP spending) industries (health care)?

Oct 14, 2025 Burton, Ohio. An Amish buggy was struck by Daoud Husein of Dearborn, Michigan. He presented a NY state drivers license that reads “NO NAME GIVEN” working on a Limited Term CDL. Mary died at the scene.

An 18-wheeler sped past my kids school bus and a police officer behind the bus pulled him over and wrote him a ticket...talked to the cop and got the drivers name and trucking company (I wasn't there) so I wanted to...umm...communicate, with the driver. Tracked it back to California, it was an LLC and the driver didn't speak English. This was in Alabama.

After the disturbing report on the trucking industry, there was a report on a briefing regarding Biden's trip to Ukraine and the former president of Ukraine commenting on Biden's corruption... That whole issue is unbelievable to me, and I wonder how deep the "rot" of corruption goes - bipartisan I'm sure ... Lord, have mercy. I hope that issue - Burisma, etc. - "sees the light of day." Biden let so much crap happen to our country - from that mess to importing terrorists and Democrat voters... Now, I'm rambling.
