Huge backlash is growing around massive data centers being built across the country to support AI systems that require enormous amounts of electricity, water, cooling, and land. Let's talk about it.

Violence is never the answer to anything. But I do think AI is not good for our country. Loss of jobs, and eco concerns are a huge, huge future problem I see.

The Red Flyer

I see no real benefit of this overabundance of data centers.

The Red Flyer

From what I have seen, there is a lot of physical & neurological damage to our bodies from the low frequency emf of these data centers, even from a few miles away. Are they killing the microbiomes in the soil for miles around them?

Ken Miller

Since AI is the new cold war, we better be ready for a world that will continue to develop it, if America does not continue to develop it, then we will be a country without nukes. No way to attack or counterattack, no defense and no chance to remain a superpower.

So happy to see this . The issues are GIANT in TX. College Station Said NO to data center here. They should explore using alternative fuel sources before they build these. esp reduced in size nuclear pods.

My question is ... Is this about "AI" or real time surveillance of ALL people and EVERYTHING they say, do or etc. I picture these "AI data centers" as data storage from every piece of info they can collect about each individual 24/7 including biometrics. Storing everything about everyone can only be bad for us regular people who just want to live peacefully and have a good quality of life without the government knowing and controlling everything about everyone.

Always excellent, balanced observations beyond the surface. Much appreciated.

AI is here to stay. As a country we must be at the forefront of this technology.

We had 2 young guys protest a local Data Center. They brought forth enough questions about it that the local govt shelved it to look into the possible ramifications. There are non violent avenues.

I’m sure they will be attacked by just regular people

I’m tracking the data center in northern Utah and Kevin OLeary is the biggest part of the deep state and it’s disgusting to see the “clout” hungry governor cox whom s as blue as a red state could be. The problem is Sarah he’s vilifying the good humble local farmers in an already drought ravaged state tell the world they are just such a “militant” groups when these good people are simply wanting answers to the deep state asserting that the people are militants. It’s simply not not true. The great salt lakes surface are is had what it was 6 years ago. The deep state NOT JUST government but a confluence of the ultra wealthy and government bad actors. Not something you’d expect to see in Utah. Please do a watch floor on this specific data center and the fast track of the building, water, and zoning permit allowing this to happen. Even at the local government level. I apologize for my lack of eloquence but I hope you get the gist Love the show Tony Hansen

Gunny's Wrenches

This is a huge problem in Texas, and what's not being talked about are the millionaire/ billionaire "Epstein Class" taking advantage of small rural communities - buying up land and screwing everyone nearby. We have this exact problem right now in my area, and it's going to be a fight.

Honestly that 20 year old kid who scared Sam Altman has more balls than any of us, good on him

I believe its for americans to be spied on.Everyday the public finds out a little more about our goverment. Then they can come in the night gather up all trouble makers for political re education

Listening to her is like letting the US gov speak propaganda directly to us

Duke energy is not building new power plants so they need for the people in the area to cut back this is done by jacking up the price of power, Data centers get priority over the people in the local area this is bad news where ever they go people need to fight them. Lots of money to buy local politicians with the promise of jobs that the locals will never see.
