Hello Patrons!

We probably get this question more than any other question across all platforms: What do I carry and how?

Made a video here to cover my current EDC CCW selection and some philosophy on it as well.

Hopefully this helps answer some questions and is good info for the next time your shopping for gear. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below.

SRS #005 coming this week!

Cheers!

What new gun belt should i get? Looking for the most adjustment 1.5" thick. Made in the USA.

Keith Cobb Jr

Insightful and entertaining as always. Keeping it real and short to the point!

10 times......9mm sucks. Maybe there is a reason for carrying a 45....Good thing Headshot wasn’t up against a 45, I assume, tough MF! That was some valuable info.

Solid info, especially the reality checks, like the carry comfort comments and Tic Tac guns. LOL! Actually LOL x 4 or 5! Please keep it coming. Here to learn.

Used to only carry ball rounds because the word was attorneys would use the use Hallow Point rounds as an excuse to sue over "Intent" or some crap. Having never had to put down an aggressor i figured ball rounds would get the job done just as well. I have sense changed up to the more effective rounds as you have suggested. Real world experience always trumps theory. Great info. Thanks.

I was specifically referring to the use of FMJ in a defensive role. 9mm is very effective with defensive rounds. Don is one tough man.

Don't you love lawyers? I think that also depends on your local. JHP is illegal in some places for some reason.

Think you could do a review “good and bad” of the Kenosha riot shooting on 8/25/20? Just an analysis of the scenario and your thoughts?

Will

I ’d be really interested in hearing Shawn's analysis of situations caught on camera where self defense was needed. Like a breakdown of what was done right or wrong, and how he would address the situation. He’s got so much insight, it would be sick to see how he would handle bad situations. It would be a great learning opportunity.

Shawn, what about when you have to have a shirt tucked in? Is a tuckable holster the best option? Thanks!

Ron Naehring

Shawn, what Phalanx holster do you run and with no, short or high sweat guard?

Steven Marshall

What kind of CCW holster would you recommend to a truck driver

I usually run the same AIWB setup from Phalanx Concealment but you might want to look into some off body solutions if you are on the road for long periods of time.
