Happy Friday Tier II and Tier III,

Wanted to share a little from a conversation I had with a Patron that made me want to make this video.

Bottom line. If something on the range makes your safety sense kick in. Trust yourself.

Stay safe out there. Lots of content in editing!

Thank you for supporting me and Vigilance Elite 👊🏼.

I’m with you 100! I’m glad you made this video. These guys get carried away…and ppl just follow along thinking they are experts…but I like how you mention, the spydie senses are always right. I had different scenarios in a kill house class excise class I took once. This shit happens!

Another awesome vid! It does all come back to mindset doesn't it and an active Bull Shit meter is part of that, thanks Shawn!

💯 This is why I’m a VE patron! Thank you Shawn. 👊🏼

I’m really picky about who and where I get my information from on certain subject matters. I know you’re one of the people in this community that will always shoot us straight, and not feed us a bunch of bullshit or blow smoke up our asses. Thanks Dude!

Trust your blood song. Listen to your instincts. This is true in all walks of life.. thanks for another good mindset video bro!

Gregory Lawton

Thanks for this, great reminder. Also - what a beautiful setting.

Hey brotha just signed up but been following you since the Travis interview, this video is the reason i stick with you and travis, your alays honest and no bullshit, and you preach fundementals, and to me thats what always saves your ass no matter what it is sports, self defense or straight up warfare, but this is my first comment on patreon actually my first ever patreon and im stoked for it brotha, this video was lights out and needed to be made!

I saw a video a few months ago of some South American police in a gunfight where one of them stood up to move forward and got shot in the back of the head by his partner who was shooting over his head. That whole one high, one low shooting around a corner thing has always seemed sketchy to me too. Anyone have thoughts or experience with that?

hi Shawn - new patron here, and just love all of your content. I grew up with firearms where my maternal grandfather introduced my brother's and I to shooting...mostly skeet/trap, but he had long guns for plinking. We/I have never been trained on fundamentals (even in the Navy carrying a .45 or M14), but one thing he instilled into us was SAFETY - shooter was always in front and aiming away, no gun sweeps...etc. Thank you for emphasizing this - it's not boring to me, and we can only be effective if we execute safely. Keep it up, and thanks for your service and sacrifices!
