2nd November 2026: Added a guard to prevent promotion/AnyShift related errors.
29th October 2026: Clarified the outdated mod warning, added a couple of tuning guards. 1st October 2026: Added tuning for my new mod22nd September 2026: Fixed a few commands that were set as cheats, and therefore wouldn't work if testingcheats wasn't enabled.20th September 2026: Fixed an issue with AnyShift that could cause scheduling issues and added new tuning for upcoming mods. Please install this new version.9th September 2026: Combined any logs/jsons into one midnitetech_settings.json, which will only be generated in your Sims 4 folder if you have a mod that requires it. 2nd September 2026: Adjusted backend handling for AnyShift. You don't have to redownload if you don't have AnyShift, as the modlibrary will be updated anyway when I release a new mod/update.
27th August 2026: Updated to prevent a json being generated if AnyShift isn't installed. Also updated tuning for my new Custom Uniform mod additions.
22nd August 2026: Removed the 'Open Log Folder Location' button, as ModGuard was flagging it as harmful (technically it was trying to run an exe (explorer.exe) to open the folder location). It now tells you where the file is instead.
21st August 2026: A few big changes that I've wanted to implement for some time now... You can now generate a report to send to me for troubleshooting, and it also offers an outdated mod checker—this is solely for my mods and works similarly to my Clean Launcher, checking a GitHub-hosted .json with my latest mod versions. This version should also solve the issue of non-English players having a 'The Sims 4' folder force-generated when their own is 'Die Sims 4', 'Les Sims 4' etc. for my settings files. In addition, the new report has direct links to the updated versions of any outdated mods you have and will list the folder locations of any duplicates you have installed. It will generate automatically in your \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder and running midnitetech.sim_report in the cheat box will add on your currently played Sim Info, helping me troubleshoot any issues with my mods. I've also shortened the file names for the jsons that hold your AnyShift settings, and the script will migrate any current settings you have to the new format so you won't lose anything.
If you have any issues with this new version, I've uploaded the Legacy Version here. 16th August 2026: Added a new injector based on januksenkosketus's to inject career entitlements the same way Discover University does. Now you'll be able to see exactly what level you'll start at before you join if you have SimU installed.
10th August 2026: Prevented AnyShift from generating a settings json if none have been set.2nd August 2026: Added tuning for my new AnyShift mod, and tidied up a few functions.
16th July 2026: Combined all my various scripts and incorporated injectors. All of my mods that have been updated now require this alone.
8th June 2026: Added tuning for the new version of my 3D Modeling career
16th May 2026: Added tuning for upcoming mod releases
10th May 2026: Sorry for the spam, guys. I fixed an issue some players were experiencing when retiring and with Story Progression, which was triggering LEs. Thank you to Jaylow7 and FourEyedMagpie for letting me know. Also, I apologize; I know someone asked (I can't find the comment) for me to add version numbers, but if I add it to the script, some players will end up with dupes, and if I zip it, some may forget to unzip it. You can always see the last update date here in the changelog, or on my mod tracker.
9th May 2026: Edit: Apologies, all; I uploaded an invalid version! So sorry, please redownload. Added new tuning for Career-Focused aspiration.
6th April 2026: Cleaned up some code, added new 32-bit instances to Switch Branch, added new cancel gig confirmation to prevent accidental deletion.28th January 2026: Updated for a new career
(Deleted old info as the post was getting huge)
My ModLibrary is a shared script file used across many of my mods, similar to Scumbumbo’s XML Injector or Lot 51’s Core Library.
It condenses multiple scripts I utilize across all of my mods into one, so you don't have to worry about cluttered mod folders. It's important you download it whenever I release a new version, as many of my mods depend on it. On its own it doesn't do too much, but it does include a feature to check for duplicate mods. If you have my mods installed, it will let you know if one or more of them is outdated. You can view links to specific downloads and see a list of your duplicates in the log. The log generates automatically, but you'll need to run the following command to create a full report for help with any issues.
📋 To create a full report, open the cheat console and enter midnitetech.sim_report and it will generate a midnitetech_log.html file. The notification will tell you where you can find it, but by default it will be in your \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder. You can use it to view download links if you have any outdated mods of mine, plus any duplicates. If you need help, send it to me at support@midnitetechmods.com.
