Hey everyone!

Tired of random NPCs blowing up your Sim’s phone like they’re starring in a telenovela? Same. That’s why I created Call Me, Maybe—a mod that finally puts your Sim in charge of who can call, text, or email them.

📱 What it does:

  • Sims must exchange numbers before NPCs can call or text (Grim and wrong number calls still slip through).

  • No more endless calls from old flings, one-time acquaintances, or that guy from GeekCon three weeks ago.

  • Block/Unblock: Cut off unwanted Sims anytime—blocked Sims can’t call or text, and now it shows properly in the Relationship Panel.

  • Phone Management: Under the Social phone menu, Sims can send, block, or unblock numbers in bulk with zero rejection chance.

  • Emails: Some tenacious Sims may email to ask why they’ve been blocked… But don’t worry, you can block those too.

  • Exchange Numbers: Friendly interaction with rejection risk, plus the romantic “Exchange Numbers” (Get Together) counts too.

  • Revoke Number: A new mean interaction with different trait-based outcomes.

  • Bosses can still contact your Sim about work, and drama calls (like crushes or social events) only trigger if the Sims have exchanged numbers.

With these changes, your Sims finally have real control over their social lives—less spam, more storytelling, and just the right amount of drama.

Is this compatible with Kuttoe's Random Texts and Calls? I was going to switch to Lotharihoe's mod to use this one, but MCCC discord says that mod is broken.

I wonder know are sims in one hosehold have each other's number by default? For example, if one sim becomes other's child (aged up from infant) or they are created together in CAS, do they still need to exchange each others phone number? Thank you for creating such an helpful mod!

Can this include delay invitations like Lotharihoe's mod since that has been abandoned for awhile? Could it also have the ability to call anyone anytime and invite them over anytime?

Hi! Click on the Sim you want to block in the relationship panel, and you’ll see the option to Block Number.

I tried this: when I exchanged phone numbers with someone, the option became unavailable in the relationship panel if that person was nearby. If I sent them home, the option disappeared entirely.

Hi! One thought immediately came to my mind. What if you add the ability to ask for a Sim's phone number from other Sims, presumably from his family or friends? The reaction will also be random. Mudlets and a notification when an active sim calls/writes to a sim whose number he did not take directly

From the relationship panel sometimes none of the interactions appear while with other sims it does. It’s a new save file so not sure if it is a conflicting mod?

Hi，I tested it using only this mod and lot51! The relationship panel does not show "Do Not Disturb" or "Ask for Number" options! After obtaining the other person's number, there is no blocking option in all character dialogue lists and relationship panels.

This mod is perfect, exactly what I was looking for. I found a very old mod that was similar to this that had long since gone defunct, so I had given up hope. Thank you! Question: Do Sims in the same household need to exchange numbers, or do they automatically have each other's numbers?

Unfortunately there's no option to block a sims number when clicking on them on the relationship panel.

Hi Exchange Numbers is available when clicking on other Sims, the relationship panel, and Phone under Social.

What option are you trying to find? Exchange Numbers is correct for sims who haven’t swapped numbers yet.

I think you said that before exchange phone number you can can ask to have his number , give fake number .. right? I don’t have this for example the only interaction I have is exchange the number

Sorry, I’m not sure what you mean? Exchange Numbers means you sim will ask to swap phone numbers, the other Sim could reject them. To guarantee a swap you can use the relationship panel or phone options.

On curseforge is written that you can have the interaction to ask number , give fake number or revoke number, but I don’t have any of this or maybe I didn’t understand properly idk

hi, for some reason this mod conflicts with simkatu "hang out on bed and chat"

the option to "hang out on bed and chat" shows up, but it's greyed out despite having multiple sims present
