I was recently interviewed by Art de Roche from The Athletic. In the event of my 10th database release since 2017, we talked about all from how it all started, to how and why i build these retro databases.

Makes me extremely proud to be featured in one of the worlds biggest sport platforms.

It would never be possible to do this fulltime without your support.

I appreciate every single one of you❤️

Keep up the great work, very much appreciated 👌👌

Hans

Congrats with the interview! I tried to read it, but when I got to the article, and scrolled down, I had to subscripe to The Athletic to keep reading :-( Is the article accessable anywhere for free?

TheMadScientist

Thank you very much. I think that its possible to read the article if you click read without subscribing, by setting up a free account on The Athletic.

Hans

Ok, I'll try that

Hans

I tried setting up a "free account" on The Athletic website, but couldn't find it :-( When I clicked the "sign up" button, there was only one option available, a 1 year subscription.

TheMadScientist

One of my friends told me that he got a 'Read without subscribe' option. Don't know why that's not the same for everyone. Hope it will be made public someday, or i will be able to publish it sometime in the future.

Hans

"Where" was the 'Read without subscribe' option placed on the screen? Maybe I missed it.

Hans

Never mind! It was in the middle of the screen with BIG letters! I must have been very tired the day I tried, or perhaps I just focused on the (little) red button in top right corner, that said "Subscripe for 2 euros"? Anyway, I figured it out.
