Was it something I said? I don't know what's happening, but I've gained around seven subscribers in four days! 🥳 The only thing I can think of was a single reply on Reddit that mentioned my Patreon...is that the cause??

Whatever the reason, your support has buoyed me. It's been a challenging week, and it's lifted my spirits to write so many welcome messages to new members!

I'd always intended to do something special to mark my 50th patron, but things have moved so fast that I'm almost at 60! I'd better get going before the next milestone arrives. (It should probably be "69," right?)

To thank you all, I've decided to post a bonus chapter from my messy work desk! None of these stories are in active production, but none are in the archives either. All of them await their turn to become a proper story. So please consider this a sneak peek, or a glimpse of the future.

Option 1 - Mecha Kiss. The first chapter of my sci-fi romance involving giant robots. I've never shared any science fiction on this site before.
