I didn't even know this was gonna happen! (I'm awful at paying attention to patreon posts lol) I've been meaning to actually watch this and now I have someone to watch "with" lol

Solitary Shrimp

I think I know about about as much as you or less about this series. Lol When you brought up the books on why there is only 3 but 4 elements, my thought was since he already has one element are the these books to master the other 3? I dont know what the other books are named, it was just my first thought. Is he considered a master of Airbending though? Many questions already lol I think this is going to be a fun journey! 😄

Amy Morgan

So glad I get to watch this again with you! This show is a fun time for sure. 😊

IT’S FINALLY HEEERE!

The amount of character traits/quirks that are conveyed really well through just one episode is honestly super impressive ngl, I love the writing in Avatar! I feel like they know when to spell things out and when to let the audience infer things and for a children’s show especially, I think that’s really important

Ahaha lets go Shrimp! So glad we have something to watch together from scratch. Also, how didn't I clock that?! That's a perfect theory bahahaha. That's the thing too! He'd have to be a master considering his strength and how he's the only one left (supposedly???) but looking forward to it either way fr! Thanks for the love and vibes always man!

LKTV (Lok)

Yes Amy! So happy you're tuning in for it!

LKTV (Lok)

Yeah I totally agree with you Megan! It's really one of those shows that does a great job of walking that fine line with being suitable for kids with its gags and what not, but it's themes are so deeply embedded and well communicated already. Can't wait to see how it pans out. Like you said, it spells things out at the right times, but also lets you put the pieces together in others. Great stuff! Thanks for watching! :D

Heather

I'm so excited for this, it's been such a long time since I watched ATLA.

Victoria

SO excited for you to go through another of my all time fav series! forgot how much of a ride eps 1 and 2 really were. To this day I still pretend to be a waterbender sometimes, this show RULED my childhood. Cannot wait to see you go on this journey! "Its like they were fated to come into contact with each other" And this is why I love your reacts. You pick up on ALL this stuff and say it so perfectly! And yes the sound design and art in this show is stunning! The music too. Its easy to get used to but as the series goes on, I always like to stop during certain fights and listen for the sounds, especially with firebending. Aang DESTROYING Zuko with the wall/mattress slams is one of my fav moves he does ever. LOVE his fighting style. (That bit he does with a hand aligned with Zukos spine to stay behind him is based off a real fighting style!)

LKTV (Lok)

Aaaaah let’s go Victoria! I’m so glad to hear this was such a big part of your childhood haha. Can’t wait to watch it all with you! And thanks so much for the love and appreciation on the commentary! I’m just super glad you vibe it and we feel the same 🥹 Also yes LMAO the damn mattress slam was so out of left field for me bahahaha. It’s like there was tension, he immediately broke it, and then it went back up. It’s just a hell of a lot of fun hey! It’s great vibes, and glad I could share it with you! See you in the next video!

LKTV (Lok)

Let’s go Heather! Super glad to read your comment and even more glad that you’re so excited! 🥹

Nikii
